Special thanks to MANAS Sound System!
From what I've been told, the main floor (outside) will have a huge fire and tipi. Actually, their exact words were "big fire tipi". Whether that means
1) there's a big fire and tipi,
2) there's a fire inside a tipi or
3) the tipi will be on fire
- I'm not sure.
The chill area is called "Circle Hall"
It's very warm and can fit 50 people.
Batta, I imagine will do the sunrise set. This should be very special if its anything like the 3 - 4 hour mind twisting, dimension shifting set he played at the last Manas party!
Can't read the Japanese, can someone help me out.
The music was like new black polished chrome
that came over the sky like liquid night.

Been to a few Manas parties, and have spent a bit of time down near the campsite where this is to be held. Nothing but good things to say about both!! Kemix, Batta and the rest of the Manas crew serve up fine music, and the atmosphere is, well, special! Sure, December/January can be a bit cold around Tokyo, but Izu, where the party is, is a bit warmer than that... should be a great time, and a great alternative to the other happenings in Tokyo for New Years Eve! Manas and crew have helped keep the Psy-Trance scene 'real' in Japan, at least in my eyes, and I'm looking forward to the latest event! |
