After listening a bit over once to the album streamed from bandcamp yesterday afternoon, I must say that I like it a lot. I assume that the remastering has been a success as it sounds very contemporary in terms of crispness of sound. I never heard the original album.
Just bought the cd and instant download from bandcamp. Not sure why I bought the cd as well, but I did.

some points:
The original has not been re-mastered. It is perfect and there was no reason to touch it. Actually our amazing mastering engineer, Twerk, mastered the second CD to fit in with the first (though, of course, they are very different in sound and feel- more then a decade has passed on everyone involved).
For me this was a very interesting release to work on, because it showed me how my musical taste and the artists I like and their music evolved over such a long period of time (that just zipped past us in a few seconds somehow...).
It was a great challenge (remix albums are always are) but we feel it came out very cohesive and with a strong togetherness and really holds it for us.
We are not re-releasing the chillosophy series, Mike. We will be finalizing this Ooze revisit trilogy with a big digital release of other classic Ooze tracks and lots of other unreleased material (some new and some that has never been released) and some remixes in a couple of months.

Thanks heaps for clarifying that Shahar. Sounds like tsngonna be some wonderful releases, you could say it will be time oozing with goodness

Okay, I have to buy this for the remix cd.
I also own the original album I even remember buying it in a cd shop. I remember the situation, prelistening it in that shop (yes, I did this in former times). |

Just recieved mine yesterday, and I have to admit that the remix CD just doesn't do it for me. Too many tracks that do not really speak to me.
Still really happy about the purchase though. The original album alone is worth it
