Pretty amazing to have you here in this forum today, Colin, having created music since the early days.
I'm fascinated by your perseverance with this music and have a lot of respect for you, cos it shows in your current sound. It's fresh and amazingly produced. What more can be said. You even came up with the new Isratrance moto and had your own appreciation topic! How do you stay so fresh and so clean clean!

Cheers Rich, that's very kind of you - we do our best Please remember I've always only been part of a team - the public face, the technical one, the main promoter and the keyboard player maybe, but still only one of a team, and what you hear as OOOD is the result of all of us working together, not just me. Speaking for myself, I persevere for many reasons, most of which I can't talk about here without disappearing totally up my own arse. However I still strongly believe the psytrance genre has vast areas of unexplored territory, not to mention the meta-genre of psychedelic dance music.
I should point out that the 'DJs and Artists' section is full of appreciation topics for other artists, but most of them don't get locked because the artist concermed is having fun in there rather than discussing products and releases and tour-dates
How do I stay so fresh and clean clean? I don't know man, that's not always the way it feels, but I'm really glad that's the way it looks!

40MHz 386 PC running Cubase Score, 2 in/2 out MIDI interface
Ensoniq EPS16+ sampler (1MB memory, stereo outputs only)
Roland TB303 (modified)
Yamaha CS15 (modified)
Roland SH101 (modified)
Silver Machine (home-built analog synth)
EMS Synthi
Evolution Synthesis EVS-1 module
Kawai K1
Korg DW6000
Studiomaster 16 channel analog mixer
Mutronics Mutator stereo filter unit
DOD digital delay guitar pedal
Kenwood portable DAT machine
At times we also borrowed a Teisco Synthesizer 100-F and a Moog Prodigy but I don't remember if we had them for this set; it's possible.
Our live sets alternated tracks off DAT (with added live wibbles) with 100% live sequenced MIDI driving the hardware - no digital audio recording.
