OOOD is very pleased to announce the re-release of our first album aLIVE, in partnership with Ektoplazm.

This album was recorded in 1996/7, and released on the Brighton-based Cabbaged Records in 1996. The tracks were all recorded live at various goa/psy parties in the UK. In 1999 the original artwork (by Cabbaged and the ThikBreakfast Holding Company) was replaced after the original distributors went bankrupt, and a limited number of copies were sold independantly in the new packaging.

I have this on Vinyl - one of the rare few that I didn't let my cat ice skate about the room on.
This is a MUST have for anyone - actually one of my fav albums
I fail to see where OOOD went wrong recently (well I do) - for sure the music they currently produce is technically flawless, but the 'vibe' isn't there anymore these days - it's just generic full on and even others of that genre are pounding it out with a win formula - maybe it's just me, maybe it's them also - all approaching 40yrs old rather rapidly - trying out new stuff and not wanting to stay back with the old WIN formula
Don't flame me for saying this, but E-Jekt have the win formula - current OOOD is a bit... lame - but this album is fantastic - always has been, always will be
