I wanted to know if u know about artists that doesnt use anything exept a computer
to make their music? |

There are quite a lot out there, but most of them will use a hardware synth for live-performances (no latency) and their music will be mastered using dedicated hardware compressors, eqs and limiters. So it's not just a matter of having the right plugins or VSTi's, but more of how you use them. And the only way to get better at using them is by reading the manuals, working with them and a lot of hard work. It takes years to develop the ears you need to get a "pro" -sound |

I think most of the artist work audio nowadays even they're combining hardware here and there,
Anyway this is the direction, the vst's are so good today and the sound processing is high quality,
I'm not saying bye bye midi, not at all and my virus and the other synths still have their warm place in the studio but when you mixing down all the midi from the synths anyway to audio file in order to eq them and fit them better in the mix sometimes i prefer working with a vst in the first place,
I think hardware effects like Reverb and compressors still have their unique sound quality that vst plugins yet didn't achieved but the technology advancement never stops and things might be change soon
If you want audio only artist names so:
SUB6, Pixel, Domestic, BLT, Evil Drug Lords, Lish
Well there's so many but i want to take a part of the interview with Yuli(BLT) on isratrance regarding that matter,

A: Well, first of all I believe that there are people that can make a total awesomity using a Pentium II, 450 while there are those that have 100,000$ studios and don't even come close to what the first ones can do. To sum it up- this is not who has the bigger XXX contest. And the main difference between the two contests, is that in the one you pointed out in your question the technique and the heart are much more powerful than another piece of machinery. PS btw in both cases eventually the size counts

yeah, talamasca uses mainly software (Reaktor), but he's got some hardware toys to play with also, for when he feels like tweaking some knobs, lol
I've heard Protoculture use only software |

careful about statements like this. Nate's 'studio' is full of hardware tied up to the pc and he does a mega amount of stuff off the waldorf xt. He does put down ideas on the laptop while travelling but then adds on , tidies up and finishes using all the rack-mounted stuff in the studio to produce the Protoculture sound. |

Yahel uses only software nowadays...see his studio pic on yahel.com..well, ok..he has a couple of hardware mastering processors, but apart from that, it's all software.. |

That's gonna shock some of you but according to the TV program they appeared in Israeil Music Channel all the equipment that was used in their recent tune is:
Cubase SX, Absynth, FM7 and perhaps some more VST's
And they were sitting in wall to wall packed synth/modules/processors studio.

Hello!
This is my first post here  , nice forum (as I saw till now  )
To the topic:
You should have at least a pair of monitors, to hear what you do. And a keyboard with midi-controllers might be practicable. It is sometimes more easy and better than drawing all the notes and automations.
I am too using only my computer for doing noise + monitors to listen and a evolution MK-249C for playing sounds.

Yeah, I think what ppl are talking about here is hardware to produce and edit sound, like synths or fx processors.... |
