Ok, I know this is not troubleshooting section AND I have done all the Googling in the world but it was fruitless, as I am desperate I come to thee, oh wizards of technology:
My video iPod was set on a Mac: for those who do not know "Mac iPods" don't work on PC
But, with the aid of this sweet program called x-play, mac ipods do work fine on PC
Alright with that.
Now, today I was using my mac iPod on a PC, open iTunes as usual and made the most terrible mistake - I let iTunes update the iPod.
The update, however, was done as though the iPod was a PC one! RESULT:
The iPod is frozen, I can't access its data, not even with x-play.
My trial solution: Searched for ipod rescue programs, but downloaded them in vain because they only serve for Fat32, not HFS.
I'm hopeless.
Furthermore, I must work this out from a PC because my mac is ruined (HD burnt), don't think is possible, do you?
Do you think it might be possible from a Mac, if so, then I'll try from someone else.
Well well, any inputs are welcome, just feel so sad and had to cry out loud, you may cry along if you wish, dear God, there goes 60gb of precious data...
