Use AIM, cos MSN has the slowest send protocol of any service ever. It's a travesty!

To prevent piracy, it also deletes mp3s after you've sent them, leaving you scratching your head as to where they've gone when it claims the file has been received. You can overcome this by renaming the extension.

Either you export the whole track as it stands, give your friend the bpm, and they just import the track and jam along to it. Or if you both want an identical arrangement, but are on different sequencers, its easier to bounce track by track all the way to the end (including the silences before the sound plays) its a pain, and its huge, but it ensures you're both lined up correctly.

Or if you're just starting the track, then bounce whole bars and say 'put this piece at the start of bar x'. Depends who is doing what.

I've not used fruity in years, so I don't know if it has some sort of export project option?

dropbox is nice because you can just share an account and drop files into a folder on your computer > it instantly uploads it to their service and synchronizes with your buddy on their computer.

Use TeamViewer is freeware. You can easily control your partner computer.then you just need skype instaled and a good internet connection, use skype to have audio comunication.just need to activate your audio input so that you only hear the sound that comes out from the computer.
This process of working online is for me the best ..you dont need to loose hours sending projects and talking by chat.Whit this both can actually control the same computer and hear it real time .in the end just save project to new folder and send to both.
Hope it helps..Cheers

That's not a bad idea, although I'd have to see it to believe it.
