Sorry if this has been covered already. I did a search and nothing turned up so... I'm just wondering if anyone has had any luck with online mastering. I've tried a few studios with mixed results. The problem I think is that none of them really know psy. I've got a few studios that I'm trying to teach how psy trance should sound, and they've done decent work, but it's still not exactly what I'm looking for. Does anyone here know of any online studios that master psy really well? Or better yet, specialize in psy? Thanks

I can also recommend Chromatone for mastering as well. He has mastered several compilations and has more than impressive results. You can PM him here or send an email to him. PM me for his email.

Also, Tim Schuldt does great mastering work. He mastered a track of mine on the Trishula compilation and it sounds incredible.           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

There's a few of us about - Chris Organic does it too!

Send me 30 seconds of your track as WAV (44.1KHz and at least 24 bit if possible) and I'll show you what I'd do to it; if you like it we can go from there.

http://www.yousendit.com is a good way to send large files (only works using Internet Explorer though ); my email address is O_O_O_D@yahoo.com

A bit off-topic, but I've used yousendit.com with forefox several times, with no problems.           ________________________

I do mastering too. Same deal as Colin, you can send me 30 secs of a track and see if you like what I do with it and if you do, we take it from there. I'm reachable at mastering@trance.org

I just happen to have done a very quick "mastering" job yesterday on a couple of tracks from a friend. If you go to http://infinitevortex.com/mantis/ check out mantis-ohmproject-s2.mp3 and mantis - ohmprojects - remastered by loki.mp3. Or mantis-aquahelix-s2.mp3 and mantis - aquahelix - remastered by loki.mp3. (The gaps in this one are in the original file!).

Note that this was done starting from an mp3!!! and I only spent 15 minutes per track but it gives you a general idea of what I can do.
