OneirOmaniX is ture forest relevation for me at this year  They one of the few can deliver divine frequencies into the depth of tripping consciousness.
Insinuating and mysterious forest starting up the roots directly in a brain.
I am very happy with both tracks out on Umcherrel, one of the best artists on compilation. Big future cover behind this amazing project.
OneirOmaniX is Aviram and Adam, both from Israel.
Skydda Skogen is Aviram's solo project.
And now a myth about similarity of oneiromanix with derango:
Jens & Ola was plant a seed, they are propets bearing light in the times.
Aviram & Adam too have caught this stream of energy and have passed it through itself in the world.
There is nothing bad that at last that such sound has started to take shape, take for example Taigan Sunset from Sweden (Liberation Animale) and future split at DevilsMind Rec, , it as has characteristic similarity of sounding both with Derango and with OneirOmaniX.
Is it bad that we have more possibilities to listen more music?

Ok guys everybody who think what 100% same Derango style. I think Oneromatrix just try to copy from Derango music all ideas. Well they grab their kick and bass and other sounds. And who realy know Derango music they can feel it 100% copy.Becouse Onermanix so try to be part of swedish artist even they call his solo project Skydda Skogen -and it mean Protect Forest ---the question is why?why swedish word?I answer because they dream of Sweeden why not use Hebrow word?And as i know in Swedish forest enough real ! Swedish artists who can protect it! So dont try to be so Swedish:)first of all look at you ,and as yourself ?I make laugh people?:)

Really, similarity is present at a design of music and the technician of musicians, and it should be noticed.
But those who is the big fans of creativity Derango, never will dare to compare these two projects. Derango always were, is and will be at assembly top. It is impossible to repeat them so.
It would be possible to present for a second what can be with psychedelic trance music if Derango were its inventors, and have set a direction of movement for other musicians, you would tell that all others try to steal their ideas, isnt it? hahahha
At these two projects absolutely different vibration and itself energy in spite of the fact that methods of synthesis the same.
All of us have forgotten that except English language at the world there are more many others, Aviram creates forest music, and the name for the project worthy, it could be such: Protege el bosque, Schützeder Wald, Protège le bois, many variations ahh?
Swedish is because sound is swedish!

dont just compare..
listen to the new ideas.. mixed with old ..

derango cant be compared.. though they cud b a major influence on the variety of new artforms that will release now..

Totally agree with Silent Horror. Every artist takes inspiration from what he has already heard and he likes in order to developp his own style. This is true in all kind of music in fact. All backgrounds and influences comes from what you experienced in life like education, people you meet, what you see and hear. Psytrance is influence from Acid music, Rap from Reggae, Rock from the blues, Electro from 80's. And this create new things all the time. It's not possible to copy somebody in electronic music beceause everybody has his own personality and his own way to treat the sounds. It's true in a way with young artist who are still in the research of their style, at this rate it's difficult to recognize the style, but with the years and work the personality of the artist is affirmed in his trax

totally agree with both of u ...
everyone gets influenced by some style and there is no harm in that..aslong as it still sounds interesting ...
in my opinion oneiromanix is just picking up the same grooves that derango picked up since afew years...and since there has been no other artists doin this specific style(and doin it well)it is still refreshing to hear than most night music nowadays...
i truely belive that altough oneiromanix is similar in styleo derango , they still do have a unique style ,well executed ideas ,good production and pure psychedelia ...
i cant wait to hear more from these guys ..and specially at a time where it looks like the derango project is no more(please correcvt me if im wrong)...

I would call this as Object Oriented Programming (OOP) approach used by Oneiromanix, they still have a unique sound although "Derango" framework use is evident !! |

indeed.. but also i can't help feeling that they sometimes conciously copy Derango's sounds (not specific sounds but .. 'their sound' .. )
Doesn't feel right to me as a listener.. and as a composer it musn't as well i suppose..
"Hey, cool! we got that derango lead sound ! Let's use it like they did.. "
If that's the case, then you're not really in it for discovering your own musical abilities...
But it must be freaking cool anyway.. to have a derango-sounding sound ready for automating.
But what to do then? discard it?
Maybe they tryed to make other sounds.. but they keep ending up with Derango sounds.. (subconcious copy ?)

people who love forest sounds should be happy that this sub genre is spreading abroad. Copy-Paste means Oneiromanix have the original FL - Cubase projects, setup and hardware that Derango have and just copy paste already set up models. Of course this is not the case. Oneiromanix sound just Great and I'm really happy that this is happening. It is obvious that they love this sub-genre and they make it with love and dedication.
If somebody is accusing them in copying than we have to accuse almost everybody else in the psy scene.
Not mentioning that a lot of other forest acts are using similar to Derango ideas... But nobody is speaking about it... or it is just that you have to be from Sweden to make forest sounds? Is Sweden the only country in this planet that has forests to be inspired from?
First were Shpongle, but how many act started to sound like them? why? because they opened new ways for creativity, the same is happening with Derango, the same is happening with Kindzadza and Psykovsky, etc etc. Those are the big names, they open new ways, but it is so nice to see other acts following their steps and in a quality way.
Dont be short minded people, be happy that in this small underground scene the legacy is continuing to give fruits.
