what is the best software (or the best way)
changing a track from mp3 format to a wave format?

a software called Awave. shareware.
converts whatever to whichever.

You can use the wav writer in WinAmp. Freeware.
Not sure about the quality tho...

winamp>ctrl p>select output then select the second one(wave)and there you go:)

i can't do it! maybe i'm doing something wrong, i dont know:(
i downloaded a program from the URL plotless gave here and it does the job. the only problem is it's a 30 days kind of program...

Use winamp.
And in case you're not sure what quality to choose (if you have the option to) then choose: Stereo, 16 Bit, 44.1 Khz (or 44100 hz).
That should be CD quality. But it all depends on how good the mp3 was encoded.
