You have all heard it, but am in love with the womens voice. Can anyone suggest any other music with this voice or tunes along the same lines.

Many thanks

The backing vocals/harmonies are Michele on Blissful yes, but the main vocals were sung by Hari Om, whose given name is Abigail Gorton I believe. Both artists feature on other tracks by Shpongle.

Michele has worked with a number of other artists as LONEDERANGER says and the name of her album is Fallen Angel, but I'm not sure it is still available as I believe there were some problems surrounding it's release.

I am not aware of any other work by Hari Om; would be nice to know however. Both ladies have very beautiful voices. It was Blissful that opened my world up to psychedelic downbeat four and a half years ago so it will always be special to me.

If you like good chillout with female vocals here are a few you could check out...

Hooverphonic - Inhaler
from the album 'A New Stereophonic Sound Spectacular'

Massive Attack - Protection
from the album 'Protection'

Portishead - Roads
From the album 'Dummy'

Anne Garner - She Has (Sean Quinn mix)
from the album 'Remaking The Pearl'

Also, i couldn't agree more about Delerium. Check out their back catalogue...

Especially the album ‘Poem’...

Quality mainstream chill! Tracks like A Poem For Byzantium, Flowers become Screens and many, many more. Their stuff features top female vocalists.

You could even try some Kate Bush tracks. She has done some surprisingly good chill-ish tracks, like the excellent Hello Earth from the seminal 80's album 'Hounds of Love'.

Peace and stuff.
Am i the only one who believes in solipsism?
