so do you guys suggest I buy battery 2 if i'm looking for plugin of drum sampler..... is there anything superior??
Does the battery 2 come with good manual so I can learn from the whole experience of playing with waves?
It seems to me that this is all that I will need to create and master the beat.... seeing that there is a compressor and everything included..... is this right...
also, when I am playing with kick, I hear a staticy or ripply sound when I edit..... is that my soundcard bad? I have audiophile 2496 cheap card... maybe I need better card like RME and monitors? help haha |

i would'nt spend so much money for a drum sampler while you can acsess to an endless vraity of brum sampler and there some free samplers on the web where you can simply load them and create your drums.

i've sufred all over the internet, without any success to find good free sampler. Eliran and Zildoggo can you point me to free sampler which at least has 20% of Battery's features. Furthermore when you buy sampler such Battery, Halion or BDF you get 1-2 DVDs of high quality 24bit samples. That the thing you pay for. |

"20% of Battery's features"
what features would you like to see ?.,
i think battery is a bit low on featuers,.
"Furthermore when you buy sampler such Battery, Halion or BDF you get 1-2 DVDs of high quality 24bit samples. That the thing you pay for."
that is indeed a good thing.

win95 ???
H2O has made a strong point, when you pay you get ready to play drum kits, and quality samples. I couldn't find a free desent drum sampler myself.

I'm using LM-4 MARK II from Steinberg. It's ugly in comparison with Battery 2.0, but the cpu consuming is very low, and it can do everything i want, including changing samples from the front panel (on LM-7, included with Cubase SX2, you have to edit a patch file)
