on-line previews for new releases

I’ve just downloaded and heard the funniest preview for an album.

it sounds like this guy from doof records just sat down and recorded himself playing some of the music from the album. Sounds like a radio show which is a bit stupid but never the less it’s a new idea and it did make me smile (I think i hear a bong working between the second and third track....) and send the link to a friend so i guess it worked as a promotion.
Any way the important thing is that it gives more music than you can hear from those short bits from each track in the online shops and that’s cool, really lets you get into the music. I hope other labels will follow and put larger portions of their releases online.
i buy all my music on the web and there isn't a shop arround where i can listen to he music before i buy the cd. those one minute bits @ psyshop can be very missleading (its easy to get a good one minut from almost any track)
with broadband beeing so widspread i think its time we get more to listento before we buy a cd. |

i heard this one too and i don't think it was stupid at all, stoned maybe but noy stupid....
the concept is cool imo |

i think u r right about those little sound loops, they are not worth much.
it would be great if i could listen to full tracks but then i will probably download them... |

found it quite embarasing but decided to put it fot download anyway just for the fun of it.
