OMS SUX !!!

Why do most programs require OMS...
I have an AMT-8/ Logic set-up(OS 9)...but if i want 2 use it in combination with Reason , and still want 2 be able 2 record knob movements ,
I need the bloody OMS 2 do it...wich will eventualy result in no midi at all...my AMT-8 does simply not like it...
Why can't reason just run without OMS ,but with the AMT-8 drivers...

hi there.
oms it's just need it to mac os9, version x does not need it.
oms i'ts +/- the midi driver like you have asio to driver of audio.
i really can't solve your problem cause i never use reason before so i didn't have that problem 
maybe is about the oms configuration, try to create your oms enviroment...

I don't use osx...so i don't get the benefits...
The software i have is mainly OS9...so...
I haven't given up on it yet...but if i don't get it soon...i'll just stop looking...2 much hassle...
