This probably isn't a permanent solution but you could write a simple triplet MIDI part, save it, and drop it on the groove lock part to have it match the timing.

that´s bullsh..
you can do a lot of things with arp, that is hard with drawing it...
you say arp is complete useless..?

don't know, i just never use built-in arps...
actually, i do not see anything hard in drawing notes by hand, plus that gives you total control over them, unlike arps...
