Tell me I didn't just buy Omnisphere to discover there is no triplet time in the Arpeggiator?

WTF

I'm sending it back if that's the case.

Hmm, I am seriously unimpressed with this synth so far. I've spent an hour with it I pretty much hate it.

I'm a being controversial? Should I give it some more time.

You should atleast give it some more time, its not so %"#¤(%= fantastic as they say, but all software companies claim their shit is the best. As with everyone trying to sell you something. Am i beeing cynical?

But if you bought it i would give it more than a hour to be honest.

Try watching the tutorials on the spectrasonics website.

Try playing with the modulation of the built-in samples.

There is SO much to do with this synth, and tbh I think the ARP is fine. What the arp can't do, the modulation can.           www.xun.dk / myspace.com/xundk

I'm just being impatient.

I've only just found the time to install it, I'm writing a song in triplets which badly needs a lead and I've just surfed through hundreds of pad and atmospheric patches and all I want it are some tough scratchy noises.

I will end up writing the melody by hand, but I like to have an arp play the patch to get a feel for it in the mix. But there is no triplet or dotted rhythm. Personally I think that's criminal!

Oh, and the manual is terrible!

That's like saying 'why bother having an arp at all when you can just draw it in'

Time saving.
To test the sound in the track.

The arp is useless if it doesn't fit into the time signature.

as far as I remember, there was a triplet arp in one of the demo vids.

wasn't this the synth where you can sync the arp to any midi or audiofile?           https://soundcloud.com/hazak

Unless you're looking for a random arp, you can't just copy and paste? Even if there's no way to do it other than drawing it in, I wouldn't send any soft synth back just because of an arp.           You believe in the users?

In no way am I resting my purchase on the arp!

I still really need to dig deep into it's power. But first impressions count.. what sold me were the reviews, hype and some demo audio examples.

I remember seeing a lot of videos at NAMM with audiences cheering and clapping whenever the guy demoing the software played a few notes!

But my experience so far leads me to believe it is a glorified Atmosphere.

Indeed there is alot of atmospheric sounds in the bank, but the whole point of omnisphere is that you can take those atmospheric samples and turn them into something completely different           www.xun.dk / myspace.com/xundk

maybe there's only classical time signatures and a "swing" function           Psy stuff : myspace.com/neyaprod
