Hi everybody !

I would like to know what is your theory about mixing oldschool tunes from the golden age of goa trance - mid 90'.

I'm beginner in spinning oldschool records and it would be nice if you could post me some tips and advices how to properly mix it.

Peace !

The mixing then is no different from the mixing now except for the fact that you have loads more options. There is plenty of that in the forum.. just browse a few topics.           soundcloud.com/supergroover

^^for sure this doesn't mean that tunes will fit in the mix even if they are in similar keys!helps whith slowly mixing the basslines though which in psytrance need so much care...

well oldschool Goa dj'ing for the most part was done on DAT, they just cut the intro out so the song started on a beat or bassline. so whatever your do will be better skills than the oldschool Goa dj's.

Just mix in key & fade intro to outro. It sounds fine & keeps the vibe. I find the old school beat matched messes the whole story telling of the tracks.           Revisiting the past.
