After moving my entire psytrance cd collection to the garage tonight (over 2500 all in jewel cases with artwork) to make room for my expanding music studio, I noticed quite a few cdz that used to be my favorites that got shelved and forgotten about over the years, after playing them, I noticed they are still timeless.
One of the cd's was Shiva Chandra's, Lunar Spice... deep, groovy, and psychedelic.
Anyone else have some favorites that still make it into your cd player?

the ambient cd from the second spirit zone compilation. i listened to it yesterday and it has a altogether diffrenet feeling than chill out of today. it's more trance enhancing and the general feeling you get is more mysterious

A few that come to mind...
I still listen to the self-titled Zorba album... and the first Cosmic Tone album... and the really obscure but great proggy album 'Output' by Axis (still haven't a bloody clue who made this and guess i'll never know).
Peace!

My Goa trance albums are always stacked above everything else ... the ones actually catching dust are the 2004-2005 psy releases.
Always on top :
Kode IV - Silicon Civilization
Etnica - Juggling Alchemist Under The Blacklight
Man With No Name - Moment of Truth
Doof - Lets Turn On
Prana - Geomantik
Juno Reactor - Bible of Dreams
Asia 2001 - Ama Zone
Wish they would still play this music at parties Its a different experience dancing/trippin to Goa trance in the morning. Miss it so damn much. |

Not so much albums as certain tracks.
Doof - Gift of the Gods.
Juno Reactor - High Energy Protons.
Have both been played this week as I recently dug out an ancient NovaMute CD.
Although I did listen to Eat Static - Abduction in it's entirety a couple of weeks ago. And does Banco de Gaia - Maya count? Because I've been listening to that a lot recently.

Some of my faves from way back:
Pigs In Space - Pigs In Space
Orichalcum - Live
