Hey all,
How old are the producer grandpas hanging out here? I'm 53 and still loving psytrance - loving listening to it, dancing to it and producing it (purely as a hobby).
God, I hope I'm not the oldest here...
This is my latest track - a work in progress. Feedback will be appreciated.

anyway nice track,maybe raise the volume of the bass a little bit?

i think im the oldest one here :S.
Good job on the track! just 2 little things. maybe the hats are lil bit to high. might need some EQing there and the bass is a little off..not in the synthesis but in terms of EQ (= but about the whooole track its pretty nice! specially liked around 3:30

Ok, so I listened to your track "Simple" and here are my comments:
Overall, the sounds are great throughout, and especially the "animal sounds" that start at around 2:00 ( I think). Good bass and kick provide a good, persistent rhythm throughout the track.
But it lacks something (in my opinion) - a hook or a lead that makes you jump to your feet and onto the dance floor. The lead that comes in at 3:40 does not do it for me. Its not loud enough in he mix and does not have enough "oomph!". Same with the lead starting at 4:25.
The whole section from 4:25 to 5:11 needs a rework, I think. Its not interesting enough to hold your attention for the full duration.
But like I said, this is just my opinion.

I think the age issue has no connection to here , To this site - To isratrance , Trance , Psy , And the all kind of music , You can be 90 , You can be 100 So we dont realy care about the age and i can see you new in here So first welcome ! Then read the rules .. HeadLine - Style , Bpm . No need telling us storys about other things by whats happen in , Try focus on the topic issue (More then others storys and those - You know .. Thats nice for an friday afternoon meeting with an friends on the shore with a beer - So less age storys and more music) .
For your track ..
Far from being my style but basicly good but as Koozer Mox have said theres yet lots of things to add/do . First your track sound too static , Nothing real hapening in there , Same same , Need more changes at the hh loops - 07:27 Min' Same loop ? Ha ? What do you think .. ? Its good or bad ? + Gain them down (Vol) And bring the bass and kik to the front . If your hh runing the same all over let the down area (Bass kik) Be change - Note here note there will make all be sound more open and free) I liket most 04:10 - 04:37 . Sound work needed ! - Eq , Mix - Track start cool but then i could feel other sounds taking control and bass and kik are not in first place , More fx's , More leads , More atmospheres + More tripish sounds .. Seems you know to dream ..

Thanks for your comments, Black Machine. I have worked on the mix a bit and I think its better now. If you have a moment, perhaps you can tell me what you think.
the other stuff, the composition and so on, will have to wait but I have listened to your comments and will probably implement them at some stage.
