I'd say check out all the re-releasaes on Inpsyde Media and Avatar Records... real classix... also the History of Goa just out and also if you really hunt Tantrance vol.1 (I paid $120US second hand and never regretted it) and also Tantrance vol.6 which gave me my best acid trip ever

wow.. is tantrance vol 1 worth so much? probably cause i bought it when it was out i dont really consider it such a incredible gem, but hey i will always go with this boat. Old music was spiritual. Artists believed in it as a way to get over life, to project themself into another dimensions, they really believed it. It was something for few enlightened and no one knew this magical world. Now that somehow all got commercialized all the inspiration has gone.. now everyone tries to copy someone else just to get his music spread and published (with few artist's exceptions). Plus another thing is that now everyone can make a decent track with just a pc/mac and a bunch of softwares. Once only who really believed in it and invested a lot of money could affort the equipments for all the synths/keyboards/instruments. Once computeres were more or less used only for midi, and there were real mixers and a lot of analog synths.. tracks were recorded on dat and the result was kind of magical. Now even big artists passed to digital and production lacks of the warm sounds that only good old synths could give . That played a big role in the evlolution of the style/genre. Much respect to the artists who still are using analog synths (cause is harder to do that anyway!)... thats my opinion at least
