I know it sounds strange especially from me who made Percussion Loop Pack for free download(everyone check it out, glad you liked it) but those are percussion's that have newer sound.What i want to achieve starts at 1:04
How to achieve those?
Real old school percussion's and quite more psychedelic, don't you think?

key here is snappy quick short percussion.
its pretty much the idea of
4/4 kick
2/4 snare/clap
4/4 hi hat (open or closed)
1/16 hi hat (closed)
off beat open hi hat in between kicks
and then usually extra percussion is very important (snare/clap groove that go in between the main 2/4 snare/clap... toms, bongos, shakers,etc...) just experiment and make sure everything flows and everything is short and "sticky" and really has some groove and punch! hope it helps man!
