Its not just about listening to music its really hearing that music. I hear clear notes and melody lines and base lines in a compisition I like when each sound is capable of carrying the measure as a solo. I think about the grate producers like Mike Mosley; Dr Dre; Timberland; Phonk Beta; Averex; XIT; and they all have that thing in common. Thats why their songs hit so hard. Its why quality lyrical content comes from the vocal artist who enhances the track. You almost cant go wrong with asending melodies in mid C.
The digital music dominating the music world today is every bit as artisticaly challanging to create as the all hardwear production process of the 80s and earlyer. The differance in quality of music and artist of today v.s yesterday is the inability of todays artist to read music and play actual insterments. So our music is becoming more and more dependant on softwear interfaces to do what the old hardwear did. The ability to use boath is what has kept the Super Producers at the tops of the charts for so long. As a producer or artist today you cant aford not to learn to read music.           Get on RapTVLive call us today 916-473-1323 9am to 4pm Mon-Fri
