i read somewhere in this site that if labels that closed were worth surviving they would have still been alive....Now,i ask you mates...Does anyone here believe that Flying Rhino,Blue Room,Matsuri and many other labels that now are closed DID NOT worth surviving?......Did they close because they offered us bad quality music? |

those labels are the defining labels in our small scene, them along with Symbiosis (UK), TIP (UK) and Celtic (UK).
In my opinion, and it's just my .02 cents, the reason these labels went down is because the people running them were music and drug loving hippes were cared mostly about the art and NOT about the money. That and the fact that Flying UK, the major goa distributor back then, went backrupt.
Funny how some things never seem to change Whoops I stand corrected, we have plenty of successful and surviving money driven labels here to last |

I doubt the scene would be here without those mentioned labels. At least the scene owes a lot to these labels. They were the true pioneers of this scene.
Some people write stuff they got no clue about.
Probably caused by a huge lack of this scene's history

no and no. But maybe they, some of them desided to close down of personal reasons? Like you know, their own choice?

Many closed because their distributors went bancrupt and owed the labels so much money the labels went down as well.
