have you noticed that lately all morning fullon artists make similar music. psycraft, astrix, xerox, 1200mics, alien project, silicon sound etc.
in the not so far past most artist had their unique sound (xerox-maskalin sounded WAY different than psycraft or space cat).what do you think about this?

I agree and i disagree for me to say that all the full-on sounds the same is as easy as to say that all the minimal tracks sound the same.
If you want a different full-on check out Finnish or Russian Full-on. It slightly differs           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

The difference between Astrix, Alien Project, Atomic Pulse and GMS is much smaller than the difference between Tim Schuldt and Psychopod, this is what people are saying here.

And it's true.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

no, some artists have forgotten how to innovate, explore, and experiment... some are more like pop musicians than trance artists.

The bassline sure is what makes it full on.
astrix, xerox, alien project, etc may sound the same... Why don't you try mix it with Zorba, Skazi, Talamasca, Bamboo Forest and some (I said some) GMS sounds?? It will be a little different IMO.
Take 2 or 3 selected tracks from each of them and BOOM!!!
(In fact you can take 6 or 7 Skazi tracks, like Big balaboom, Cost me, War, Element, GTR, Way to Calcutta, Tied Up, Stealing my Memories, etc...).

Do these newer full on tracks contain the same diversity of character?
I recently played a full on set here in Toronto, mixing up The Visitors' Tiny Little Engines, Hallucinogen's Space Pussy, Ubar Tmar's Rhythmism 6, TIP's Overwind, P.Cok's Double Doper etc... they all seemed to have their own particular nature that stood out in a way... I suspect it may be the tension building moments - where the music turns from full on madness to a brooding anticipation of the next big rush. I haven't found so much of that methodology in newer full on - it just seems to bang along without really picking up speed for me... the synths don't speak to me, just the voices of hollywood movies (for example: I'll throw a water bottle at the next guy I hear who plays that awful stuttering stanley sample - jokingly of course)...

Of course it goes without saying that people should enjoy what they like, whatever it may be. I am unfortunatly burnt out from the homogeny of new stuff.
