Hi I'm interested in black and white films..no need for audio, the older the better.
My favourite is Nosferatu.I would even say it is the ultimate most psyco film of all times.I have to redig the history,I saw a few but have not memorized.
Maybe some of you can post your favourites.
I'm looking for horror ,mystic, magic,of witches and devil movies. No love stories or such
Peace

Buster Keaton all the way he was GREAT classics like The general and The Steamboat

i am a big fun of silent cinema! especially the 1920's. here are some directors' names maybe you find some of their movies
so try to see:
-soviet / russian cinema of the '20: Dziga Vertov, S.M. Eisenstein, V. Pudovkin, A. Dovjenko and others
-german expresionist cinema: Lang, Murnau, Pabst and a movie called The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari by R. Wiene
-french abstract and impresionist cinema: Germaine Dulac, Abel Gance, Jean Epstein, Marcel L'Herbier, Jean Renoir, Marcel Duschamp, etc.
And try to see the "documentaries" of Joris Ivens "The Bridge" and "The rain".
cheers
