Colin, you're the man! No doubt bout it...
I knew it was possible, but I forgot where to find it... I looked all over the place, but I just couldn't figure out where it could be....
God bless 'Offline Process History'...

i really appreciate the effort and knowledge put by each one here who is into producing to make this project happen.thanks alot to all the guys helping here. i dont know any thing about producing and always wanted to learn how to produce music. But now seeing this project happening im delighted. And for the project members i would like to suggest something. For a beginner like me who goes through the forum to learn producing its really hard to understand the terms and doesnt know where to begin. So the tutorials should be from 1st step i.e. beginner level with some terminology of the terms used in producing.I hope what i said made sense and wil be considered...thanks again to every 1 again (Y) |

The problem is that it only sounds good when you it for the first time. When all copy-cats reproduce it in their tracks, it starts to sound boring. You're far better off if you concentrate on learning general principles of constructing percussion tracks (or maybe that was what you meant with your request?). It takes quite a bit time and effort but it's well worth it. Ok, percussion needn't always be killers, sometimes they can serve just as a background. But if I hear uninventive percussion on every track on a given album, I can't but conclude that the artist can't or doesn't care about making fresh grooves.
