Trance scene is gonna split

We'll see some kind of Trance Music Festival with differents genres but we will have split in the scene with Rave full-on partys, old school freak party, indoor proggy sound and outdoor dark partys

and some big festivals with differents floor

^^ i think he is worth not for his mixing skills but rather for spining 20 hours in a row, and still have people willing to hear him, after so many breaks with the music (but everybody who already listened to him knows that)
now that is something the comon dj don´t have, and never will have
now you gotta give him credit for being able to do that..do you know any other dj that does what he does?

That's the only thing I give him credit for as he is indeed a one man show.. but you have to see that djing is not about playing for 20 hours, that is not what makes a good DJ, so I think. What gets people to still listen to him is his "mystical" presence and all the history behind him and his role in the psychedelic scene throughout the years.
Now, I have seen him twice and won't be going to see him again, at least on purpose, because I don't like his sounds selection and his djiing skills are just aweful (he doesn't try to make them good anyways). Now, there are djs I wouldn't mind seeing over and over again, like Shane Gobi or Tsuyoshi Suzuki, both for their sound selection and djiing skills, because I really love listening and watching some good djing.

Somehow I can't stop myself from getting the impression that just a very small amount of Isratrance users have voted here thought...and that lots of people lost their interest to even do so.....hopefully some more interest or diversity in the next poll

After seeing/hearing Tsuyoshi at Boom 2006 and several other times, I unfortunately can't disagree with u any more than I do righ t now.....even Chicago was almost crying on stage, and all of us were honestly wondering what the ***** Tsuyoshi was doing. I'm glad for you that you're able to enjoy his sets, I preferably never see the man play again, so I can remember his true glorydays in the mid-late 90's with a big smile on my face, 'cause that was honestly the best I've ever seen a man or woman dj in my life !!!!

Congratulations to all winners. But it seems that some ¨losers¨ deserved the top 3 too, such as Suntrip records.
As for Goa Gil, he may not be The Mixer (and I think he does it on purpose, it´s somehow good to hear some human mistakes coming from the speakers, at least you know he´s not just pushing the beatmatch button), but he definetely knows how to rock a crowd.
IMHO, the results were a bit tainted. A good way of gauging was to ask producers, DJs and label managers their votes - rule: they couldn´t vote for themselves. A la Oscar. The results would be more accurate, I think. Anyway, the dark side has the power now. I am an example: didn´t like it at first. But now I have some Mubali, KDD, and Goa Gil on my Ipod. Sign of times.
