In these days this release hits the shops.
Dont miss it, its a piece of gold...

In the time with Iboga Records, we have been trying to show many nuances of electronic music, and in 2001 we released our first chillout/downbeat compilation. It was called "New Entry" and featured Scandinavian artists as well as tracks from further south of Danish borders. The result was an amazing compilation with a diverse selection of chilled beats n' grooves.
To follow up on the success, we started a new series called "Floating Point" exploring new territories of beautiful chilled electronic music.
On "Floating Point" Part II you will find another fresh selection of the finest chill out and lounge music there is around these days. This is another top of the line production from the Iboga Vault.

The CD features artists like Tomzen from Denmark. The track Che Amichi is licensed from the well known Music For Dreams and has been a big success in UK radio shows.

One other artist is Stephan from DMT. He is also known for a string of releases with artists like OGI, Brilliant (83), Fresh (84), Juno Reactor (92), Total Eclipse and lately Digital Mystery Tour.

Pitch Black has pumped their way through New Zealand’s electronic music scene and has fans all across Australia and Europe. They have several releases behind them on labels like Loop Records.

Cell from France is another interesting artist. His skills as a Jazz musician from the Conservatorie of Chambery and acoustic sound engineering has made him turn towards electronic music under the name Cell.

Rumpistol Feat. Tusnelda is a new upcoming Danish act. He describes his music as click hop and has already appeared on several compilations and 12”. The singer and songwriter Tusnelda is working with many different producers. She has formerly appeared on Café Del Mar compilations.

I really enjoyed Banel's DJ set at the Underwater Overground festival this summer... so I have high expectations for this compilation and I'm very anxious to hear it!           How am I supposed to hallucinate with all these swirling colors distracting me!

Hi! I heard both of your sets actually, but I was refering to the one on the chillout... I really enjoyed it, I even had a little nap hehe. Smooth combination of old and new tracks... and the chill place was very well made... good music, good people, amazing festival... I'm sure Floating Point will bring back some memories           How am I supposed to hallucinate with all these swirling colors distracting me!
