But Infected new stuff is around 130 bpm and they self call it here in the video progressive trance
i know what you mean when you say something completly different than symphonix and so on, but before this kind of progressive trance came up mixed with minimal and techno elements or stuff like neelix there was artist like klangstrahler project, Feuerhake and Haldolium in the early days of progressive, and this is also something completly different from nowadays prog trance.
I would say as long the track from infected is around the bpm prog trance is and they have still some trance elements in their music its ok to say some tracks from IM are prog trance.
The scene has always influences from other genres, symphonix has for me nothing to do with progressive anymore and is a kind of minimal trance, but just for me
by the way some good progressive this year you can download here

Although I don't like putting things in boxes much.. I'd still say there is a huge difference between prog trance (armin van buuren style; infected) and prog psytrance (symphonix, zyce, e-clip etc).
True that Zenon is always the one to look for when it comes to breaking ground Don't think there's another label out there that seems to define a whole new genre. Psygressive/Zenonesque as Ektoplazm calls it.
Here's an excellent compilation, and looks like every artist on it is has a sound of their own. Would keep a keen eye on Grouch and Brujo's Bowl.
Yes, Time In Motion - Energy is really nice! I must say for the progressive lover, like me, I have listened to so much good releases this year. And the year hasn't even ended yet!
Just to name some killers:
Lyctum - Tales Of The Universe
Ecliptic - 0n A Ledge
Vertical Mode - Lazer Shot EP
Naes - Behind The Shadows!
Sonic Wave Control - Sixth Sense
And be sure to check out the New Relativ (aka Sideform) tracks, my fav one is Universal.
Also vol 1. of Sourcecode Transmissions (compiled by Zen Mechanics) just came out, from his brandnew label Sourcecode. Some great new tracks from E-Clip, Egorythmia, Liftshift, Dickster, Sonic Species, Ace Ventura, Symbolic, Vertical Mode.

Those are some nice recommendations!
Another favorite of mine is Vertex - Earth.

Yes, love that album! Just found out recently that it's another project of Zyce. Anyway some more albums from 2012 with brand new tracks I discovered recently are:
VA Carrots and Stick Vol 2. (Motion Drive, E-Clip, Time In Motion, Egorythmia, Ace Ventura, Protonica, Lish, Optiloop & more).
VA Eternal Symphony. (Relativ, Zyce, Flegma, Lyctum, Vertex & more).
Unseen Dimensions - Real High EP.
Reverse - Reverse EP
Odiseo - Sol
Also look out for the new Protonica album. Coming really soon.
Best progressive selection CD of all time I find to be 'Selection 2010' from Iono music. Really worth it, lot of tracks.
lol, i sound like a fucking record label here. but thats ok, just wanna get the people in touch with the best music.

again, not groundbreaking, but some top notch progressive psytrance, it's a remix by Braincell/Solar Spectrum
Really good stuff! Heavy basslines, crunchy leads, funky breakdowns, touch of the oldschool. Closer to what you'd expect from an evolved form of progressive.
