Last year only brought us just a few very very good Progressive albums:

Suncontrol Species, Timedrained and ShadowFX.

That's about as far as I get:-)

So what can we expect to be insanely good Progressive albums this year?

Well, There's an ace ventura remixes album coming up soon and it has some wicked tunes for sure, There's a nyquist album on the way and antix's side project, fjord is rumoured to surprise us this year. Also keep an open eye on elegant universe that will continue to surprise us with their wicked material. And no word on extrawelt and minilog's albums that should be megasweet           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

nyquist is electro, fjord is experimental, elegant universe is minimal prog, extrawelt minilogue minimal tech... and what that have to do with progresive TRANCE?
ok, i see more and more people fallen into standard of the industry and more and more people which fear to cross the borders and continue exploring, continue PROGRESSing forward... For me, this mixing of genres is not that much progressive, thats just experimental... So, maybe the only fullquality progressive release last year was: Bigwigs album           VA - Momentum vol.1 - Compiled by PhaseTech

Its Fiord not fjord...

And he asked about Progressive , so what is the connection to extrawelt and minilog's albums ?

Also i wouldn't call to elegant universe music as Progressive one's..

well, even when you dont see it/like to seen it as a progressive recomendation, the attached labels that you used for each and every of those projects, to me are overwhelming. this! is this, and, that! is that. i dont care about that to play my sets, i play and listen to whatever fits on my 126 to 130bpm range, (name it:electro, minimal, progressive etc etc) the above mentioned albums/artists anyhow, are and won't be like a full time trancer would even know them, but be honest if you listen to "progressive" you know that what is written is true and related to it no matter what, like Ellon says its a giant with wider shoulders than what you think......
back to topic:
Expect even MORE from Jay Lumen without a doubt...

Audionova maybe....
and yes

How about Ocelot?
He has just worked on a co-production, releasing a Progressive track on VA Halu Beats.

Would be mighty interesting to have Ocelot producing a Progressive album, but I'm afraid that's not really gonna happen (this year).

dear kin beat, things you said have nothing to do with the taste of the man who opened this topic. i mean.. audionova? wtf its pure progressive house...

i know that in the name of the topic isnt written "progressive trance" but djones for sure thinked about it! i guess he is not interested in some Progressive Metal, or progressive Rock...           VA - Momentum vol.1 - Compiled by PhaseTech
