i have an OLD album- from 2002- some tracks are older even... no plans for a new release due to the innate conservatism of most trance labels and my um iconoclastic nature...
anyone who wants tracks to download should PM me and i'll send you a URL to download 320 Kbps mp3's of some new tracks...
i have a TON of new music and i'm going to be setting up a download server JUST for downloading my material. i have no interest in selling tracks...

ocelot, a very handsome dj. he looks like a spaceship pilot from the 50's.
his music is quite nice too. reminds of music from a while ago, when it was good. ocelot writes good music. or he seems to. sometimes I don't know if whether i should trust my ears or not. but if you see this dj, you will have good luck for three days. |

This guy is something else. Although I listened to his first album - Aural Sects and the second one - VectorSelector it didn't really got my attention. I mean the Cd's were running randomly in my CD player for lets say a month and that was it.
Then I went to Full Moon Festival 2005 and after experiencing the best live ever performed by Highcosmos and thinking it's not getting any better than this, there he was - OCELOT. He was not officially in the line up and as I later understood he was there only because Sun Girl couldn't come. And how lucky I was, not to be rude to Sung Girl, but the set he played just took parts from my brain and launched them into the German aerial space..
The thing with this guy.. only a year ago (as you can see from his post here) he said he was not going to make a new album, he even came out with an idea to share his music on internet for free. But what happens? We received a new album called VectorSelector and more than 5 compilation releases are carrying his name, too bad it was not for free
Not more than 2 years ago he wrote (here, on this forum) that Ocelot is a project that stands for "morning happy groovy trance". At that time VectorSelector was supposed to be Aaron's second project that would stand for "powered superhero trance". What happened after that? VectorSelector, instead of being another project turned out to be an album name from an artist called Ocelot. Somebody was falling into the Dark Side
At this time, Aaron was pissed by ppl talking about "light" and "dark" trance. He personally was not pleased with the epithet "dark". He throw his rage on some ppl here for dividing the scene and even opened a new topic actually proposing a new word, word that would end the "dark" era and will be connected with that style. That word was "action", so instead of "Dark Psychedelic Trance" we should rename this sub-genre (or whatever it is) to "Action Trance". He was also pissed by the name "Trauma Trance". Many of you already know that this month there is a compilation released by Mistress Of Evil Rec called "Trauma Trance"
Talking about this month, Ocelot's releases on "Lyserg Lesson 1" and "Yes or No" compilations are just one of the best (if not the best) I ever heard. From what was supposed to be "morning happy groovy trance" emerged a pure 160bpm fast horrordelia! And I praise this men for accomplishing this!! Now I really expect the third solo album from Aaron!
P.S. About my observation, I tend to find out as much as possible about my favorite artists, it's not conformity that I seek, I don't expect them to be similar like me (in the sense of life views and crap like that), but from all of them Aaron is probably the most interesting persona I've come by. Although totally different than what I think of me he just proved a point.. 2 years in psychedelic trance changed us like no art has changed us before!!!
