hey aaron, how that could even happen at all? who fucked up? how the album, unfinished!, got into pirates hands?
shit happens... again, this is a sign that people do need your music.
well i downloaded that, listened to the album and found it really good. i told you. now looking forward to check the official release and compare

no, myspace/youtube are really encoded low quality. what i downloaded was high quality mp3 files. such files could leak from 1. artists himself, 2. label, 3. mastering engineer, 4. someone with whom artist shared the album, or 5. if someone's above listed computer was hacked.

Makus, I did not download the "premature release" - was just guessing. Looking at your 5 possibilities for high-quality leaks, I find all of them pretty scary. But surely, Ocelot works with people he knows well? And has a decent antivirus on his computer(s)? And would not use that desperate trick number 1?
I guess it's some unknown dude at the label then. Still don't see a point in such stupid behavior (unless he is 12 years old, of course).
Anyway, everybody, sorry about the rant - I realize it kinda belongs in the piracy thread. |
