I can't find this album anywhere. It's not listed on ocelot's own web site, or on zaikadelic's website. Psyshop lists it as released "tba" with no image.
So, is it out or what? I keep reading that it's a 2009 release, so.. I should be able to buy it somewhere, right? |

UPE (pirate group) ripped a cd with early versions of album tracks plus others. they took the tracklisting from the Zaikadelic web site and they just slapped it online with the cover graphics and called it a release.
the tracks are not correctly labeled nor are they finished versions.
We reacted to this by renaming the album
"Let's Dance" will never be released
"You Live in a Zoo" will be released with a revised tracklisting and revised tracks hopefully very soon.
I have 2 wishes:
1) That the pirates in question wait until they see an actual album released and rip an actual cd of this album, not just what they THINK will be the album
2) That they don't (in their infinite retardedness) label it Style=dark trance as they did the rip of "Let's Dance"
Its not. it's: Genre=Psychedelic Trance, Style=various
Wait for the real deal. Thank you for your support or enmity, whichever comes first.

i like dark trance. really dark trance!
i think people today are taking shortcuts
when they can't think of another evolution in the leads
they shortcut to changing the bassline or doing some flashy trick and then going on and on with the shallow attention span.
it takes a lot of work to correct for these malfunctions and others that i see with the speedcore generation.
speedcore fast trance is not trance to me.
its gabber. im old enough to have seen gabber twice!
the first gabber was actually better made as it didnt have the silly idealogy of 16th notes in fast music.
always anyway. it was more liquidy gabber than this gabber 'trance' of today.
anyway- to make a long story short-
people are shortcutting to this and that= but its not psychedelic trance.
trance has a simple definition to me- to be able to carry a peice of attention span beyond a few bars and morph that attention span focused bit into something else and take people on a ride. and i mean more than 8-16 bars...
