Hey guys i have a question. I will be arriving in Budapest morning of 9th august, and will be coming to Simontornya by train the same day. I read on site that there are Ozora buses which drive to the festival? Somebody know the time when this bus is departing from Simontornya?

Really looking forward being with crazy Ozora tribe this year! Cheers

Does anybody know if you can take your car into the campsite i.e. park near your tent? Or is there a separate parking area?           ToO mUcH pReSsUrE oN tHe BrAiN

According to official news reports, there were 480 (!) policemen involved in the yesterday raid, most of which left the festival already. Four people were arrested. Some officials and investigators are still there, as they did not finish the operation yet (as they did not find some stuff they were looking for). This does not affect the majority of the festival people.           More music, video, info etc... here:

hi everybody, just got back from ozora and this is the report

epic fail this year, it brings the next ozora into question. There is 3 important things to mention:
1 - slopy work
the main stage was not finished, first 2 days it opertated with 50% of its lights out. It looked quite poor but it provided the shade which was its most important part.

2 - they started charging 15 euros just to set up a blanket with hand-crafted goods. The funniest thing is that they never speak of it, all my inquiring around the internet and comunication trough email led me to think that it is free to bring your creations. The security evicted me and tried to make me pay the permit fee. This can be attributed to the spirit of the new organiser.

3 - POLICE, the biggest mistake ever. There were several raids in which HUNDREDS OF POLICE MEN brutalised and arrested at least 50 people. There was clubbing, beating up, stripping, tent and car searches, all in public and in front of our eyes. That happened for the first time EVER on the second day of this years Ozora. It killed the spirit of ozora in one shot. Freedom, smiles and sharing turned to paranoia, sour faces and mass mistrust.

It is quite funny how all the legends and rumours about Oxora turned out true. I saw the hemp field hidden by the corn, the first day and the day before were copless so i managed to see the freedom and the Ozorian spirit, and it is even better than the videos on youtube and what people say. On the other hand, rumours about the new organiser being money driven, as well as those that warned us about him selling us to the cops turned out to be true too, even though i never believed them before i saw it with my own eyes.

Next Ozora will be full of cops. This time, according to the news, there was 500 of them at the festival, next time will be even more. I insist that A LOT OF NOISE BE MADE ABOUT THIS, because if it is not done next year we will have another 100 - 200 people lose their freedom and have their life ruined, as well as the another 40 000 people which will be dissapointed and disilusioned.

Prepared for this festival almost a year, thinking, planing, obtaining, informing myself. Now i feel realy glad i have seen the 1st day ant the day before the 1st, the best f*ck*ng party of my entire life - hats clean off, respect and love to the Ozorians. If i hadnt come this year, the REAL OZORA would be forever ereased from my expirience. On the other hand, i am quite depressed and very frustrated that i will probably never see it ever again. It brings a sad tear to my eye every time i think of this. It is a straight fact that even with sloppy organisers, even with a kind of music i myself dont adore, the feeling i got from the first 3 days of my vacation, mostly inspired by the crowd and the random people out there, is simply unreal and undescribable. But if i have to hide my weed, if i have to roll joints in toi-tois, if i am in danger of being arrested and jailed up i just cant relax. Could you?

I had an absolutely AMAZING time ALL the time....and ok that maybe it was a sell-out from the organizer...but you always have to be prepared for cops these days....cannot expect to have 20000 people in one place and cops not show up ( maybe not that many )anyways you need 2 undercover cops going in the first night to see what was going on (drug wise) for mayhem to start...and on this i want to make 2 points.

1) You want to sell drugs or do drugs in front of everyone else?? be ready to pay the consequences ( unfortunately for everyone..it's illegal everywhere)...especially if there are idiots that do BANNERS with on written EVERY substance they have to sell....some even with prices...on the main road to main stage...come on...that has nothing to do with freedom....it's just being retarded and gready.

2) cops were only around stopping people in the "plaza" around the main floor....asking mainly for ID and if you had no ID... you got "searched"...most of the "unlucky" people that got searched were actually being smart asses and going to the cops to shake their hands and dance around them....VERY SMART idea!!! i just went in my tent for 5 hours...and that was it...saw no more cops and consequently no problem...if anyone was paranoid about cops...it was enough to go in the dancefloor...they would have never gone there aahah the rest of the cops around the camping were looking into specific vans...which were the ones advertising drugs... not random tents... and from what i understood from some friends involved in organizing...no random people got hurt or "brutalized" as you say...they got some special team (kinda swats) to arrest some israeli dealers which had weapons in the campervan. those are the people that got beaten up....and then held face down with rifles behind the heads... apparently many kilos of stuff were involved...so i guess it's standard procedure when they catch dealers like that.

by the way i don't do drugs...so couldn't care less about that..i was just afraid that they would stop the music!! but also true that it killed the vibe...that's the reason i went back to my tent to chill out for a while ( well earnt chillout )

So in general it was a KILLER party awesome music at night and ok during the day, awesome constructions...and deco's...very nice people and not too expensive without unreasonable cues if you picked the right time to eat ehehehh

THUMBS UP for ozora!!! thanks alot!!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM           If the speed of light 299,792 km/s, what is the speed of dark? :P maybe measured in bpm?? :P

yes the vibe was killed dead. And they kept showing up each day after that, so they were pretty thorough in killing it. Not a single joint was refused when i offered, and i was offered a lot myself, so i conclude that maybe you never do drugs, but for 99 % of Ozorians the risk of being jailed up in a foreign countury is quite disturbing.

Also, the freedom to sell crafted stuff no longer exists. If i want a good party i can go to any club in my hometown, i dont pay the ozora ticket for the parties. It is the freedom and the spirit that makes me look for places like this, not only the good party. And for a 4 day festival 100 or 120 euros is not in any way a cheap ticket. Those that paid and expected freedom were let down.

It is true that one needs to be extremely careful when carrying illegal stuff. You cant realy blame the organiser for the arrest, but he could be more effective in warning the people, he could send a lot of words he could print it in the prophet. But i dont trust him to do that. And i dont put my freedom into the hands of people i dont trust.

The parties are cool, and if you dont do drugs you will be out of paranoia and peacefull. But to Ozora, there is SO MUCH MORE than just the good party. SO MUCH MORE, enough to change ones perception of ideal society. That is what i paid for, and im ready to pay even more, and im glad i have seen it, even if i saw the last of it.

How can this be written in just one sentence? If he is money driven, why would he "sell" us to the cops?

More logical to me is that the former organizers had some kind of a deal with police, and now they are setting up new organizers.

Besides that, I remember presence of police couple of years ago, by the old chill tent and main stage, also arresting few people. Not in this number, but they were on the festival.

I don't know where you've seen 500 of them, they were 2-3 dozens next to the main stage. It was announced on main stage that they were coming, and that we should "behave nice". Didn't noticed any harassing people either, or paranoia among them.

PYC is right, exposing price list or just offer drugs publicly, should be forbidden.

As for the festival, I also observed little bit darker main stage than in previous years, but didn't realized it's because it was not finished.
Music highlights for me were Hopi, Sonic Species only 1 hour live :-/, Liquid Ace and of course Tristan, with lots off new material.

Worst Loud, and Captain Hook with his dubstep.

I also heard that Atmos was a surprise on the end of 3rd day, after Perfect Stranger, but we were not informed in any way about that, thats a big minus.

Very good festival, dry and dusty, with one rainy day, I could rate it excellent.
