codex are you serious? almost every day from 12:00 onwards (or maybe 14:00 in some days) it was all minimal, to a point where i just gave up on the music and took the long walk to the tipical beach and basked myself in the sun

you know I've been pretty silent about this for a long while but I've had enough...

where is all this minimal you are all talking about?

seriously there was one afternoon with it, when peter didjital and gorgo played...the rest was either psy prog or goa or some other variation of psytrance...

now I know this for a fact simply because if it were the case I would probably be there in the front rows having a great time...

I don't like dark, psy prog or goa and I'm not too fond of most of the full on stuff either

but you know what? I love the fact that it's all represented there...this is what ozora has always been about, I've been a regular there every year since 2005 and for a festival that lasts a full week you need to have as much diversity as possible...what's the point of having the same style of music every day? will it kill you to take one afternoon off the main stage and go do any number of other things that are available..

I wish for ozora to branch out further into other genres...and you know what else...I camped out next to the cinema and there was a lot of prog house/techno/minimal played there and it was always a nice vibe, people having a great time...and also guys like dimitri, dado and christof who all played full on sets on the main stage did alternative techno sets there...

loosen up people, you should be embracing the diversity being offered           DJ Dovla | Interchill Records, Flow Records

dovla we were speaking about boom not ozora (codex and me)

i think the music on ozora wasnt boring at all - there was less goa than what i had wished for but the music was very good almost all the time

It isn't dead, it's just a change in the organization.

I realize that in a way Ozora could be "dead", because I don't have the faith in the ranch owner's organizing capabilities. On the other hand, he doesn't need them, he is surely by now loaded with dough and can easily hire someone who is able to pull it off.

Nothing is lost. Luckily, bubble and the crew who left the organization are willing to create a new festival...

The site owner has removed what was posted there- but this is what it said:

Quote:

CHANGE.
The World is in big change now...

We are changing...

The Tribes have left Ozora.

Spirit is gone!

After 8 prosperous and joyful years, Daniel (the farmer of the land) decided to take the whole festival in his hand. He beleives he can do it as he owns the land and the event is big enough to carry on alone by itself. We have been trying to convince him for the last 2 months, but he did not even listen to the facts and the suggestions collected by us to improve the Festival rather than destroying it in his sudden strange mood.

We beleive that it is much more that has been born at Ozora, not just the name he registered, the ground and the big money behind it - but a lot of personal love and hard work.

Everybody who worked in the Ozora Team have added a lot of effort and enthusiasm. All the artists have added their vision, many of them for free. Everybody dancing there added his own vibration. And Love again. That is what can not be counted. And also it can not be missed...

The owner's decision was purely made on 'financial interests', although almost 99% of the income went to that 1 place. Does it sound familiar? The old money-pyramid again, and probably it's time to think of a new system.

So we go different ways... No fighting back, rather looking into the future.. making the best of the Present.

We are happy and sad in the same time. But we must follow our heart and not the greedy needs.. Different ways of thinking, different ways of life.

We have a beautiful vision with long years of experience and knowledge...

The ones who must leave 'O.Z.O.R.A':

Bubble Balazs - main-organiser
Oleg - ex-organiser, music, web
Edit - graphic designer
Amin - Access All Areas's father figure
Alpha - music & stage
Peter Didjital - music & stage
Extradimensional Space Agency - main stage decor
Martin Audio - sound system
Pumpui crew - visuals, movie, before & after party
Viki - shops
Csaba, Cuki and their nice friends - Magic Garden and workshop keepers, jugglers, builders, workers, the travel crew and many artists like Raja Ram, Simon Posford & the whole Twisted Crew, Atmos, Ace Ventura, Liquid Soul, Man with no Name, Tristan, the PsyBaba family, the Ultimae Records family... and many more.

Thank you for all of your support!

We believe in you more than ever!!!

Together we can keep the Spirit of Ozora... w

We can even create something better.

Our collective dream has huge energies...

Funnily enough this year the chosen sign was the 'Rise of the Phoenix', in other way 'Flight of the Garuda'... Symbols. Who knows? Maybe it's time to leave one stage behind...

So this is the news now.

By the internet we can stay connected, more info soon.

Thank you all !!!

Love & Light

it's unbelievable that someone get's so greedy after a big success that can destroy something so good and perfect like o.z.o.r.a
and yes i know they going to change the organization who make this festival happend.. but i don't think it's going to be the same, as many other good festivals who have lost the spirit after changeing people/org.
