i dunno where you guys are coming off from, but ive been to ozora 2009 which was an amazing experience for me, i knew what to expect this year and i was still absolutely amazed! yes it was much bigger than previous editions, but i honestly think it was even better, the facilities sufficed (ffs the toilets were clean every day!) - even the showers (it was much better than 2009!) - queues for food will be in any festival and i honestly dont think they were that bad as some people describe here - the only issue with the queues was the entrance (tho i cant complain as it took me about 30 minutes to get past it).
now on to my review
bubble here said we were in for a serious eye candy type of treat in this years edition and goddamn was he right! this year's visuals were absolutely mind boggling - i was warned by one of the deco team members not to do anything while at the main stage cuz itll mess me up badly - being in natural mode there was enough - well, while at daytime it didnt seem that different from last year's edition, at night... W O W ! ! ! the mainstage turned from a spaceship to a stargate! i really cant put into words the way it looked at night, and the chill out - WHOA!!! the projections on the roof of the chillout at night caused some serious visuals i was absolutely stunned from all the visual treats we had allover the festival grounds - the magic garden was a great addition (didnt see one in 2009 and i duno if there was one in 2010 ) and also the little watch tower - had alot to walk around and experience
sound system gave a blowout to all F1 protagonists - never in my life have i heard such a pounding bass and every little sound while not being blasted and actually able to speak a few meters away from the speakers (and i was digging my ass off in front of the left speaker for a minimum of 12 hours each day) and not getting even the tiniest ear buzz - i think it was tuned much better than 2009 - perfect!
music - ill start off with my biggest highlight - JAMES MONRO: WOW!!! i was expecting another minimal james monro set - nothing special, but then he just pulled out vinyls and gave a proper pumping old school set with great oldies (never heard masray's time traveller of trance on such a sound system), and the fact that everything was played from vinyls made all sound a lil more fuzzy and gave it a serious old school feeling - what a set!!!
GREEN NUNS - amazing dj set by dickster, finally played other green nuns tracks that are not on rock bitch mafia, and when those are played - well it is pure electricity on the dance floor, never a let down
FILTERIA - i had high expectations, and janis didnt disappoint great time slot for him as well, the dance floor was flying with energies!
X-DREAM - the only set i really wanted to hear and missed, but i heard it from my tent and it was absolutely awesome - i wish i had been at the mainstage when they played
GAUDIUM - awesome proggy set, really lots of fun
SUBCONCIOUSMIND - finally got his shot and boy did he pull it off - great work man!
TRISTAN - his sets are always pure electricity... he actually flipped the switch on me and a few of my friends
DIMITRI - great retro set!
OTT - amazing amazing music!
EAT STATIC - WHOAAAAA!!! i cant believe i heard only one hour of that set
ASURA/AES DANA - made me night perfect
other sets i enjoyed were: protoculture (a lil cheesy but alot of fun, especially when ur rocking with a south african girl ), BBE, tranan, aphid moon, djane gaby, suntree, union jack, hux flux, edoardo, mike maguire, simon vs. raja was nice (it wasnt so special in my opinion), zen mechanics, atmos, fearsome engine, tsubi (wierd set, but good music), ace ventura and liquid soul.
i was really disappointed from the pleiadians set (wtf was that outfit ? what are you... skazi?) - was a boring full on set (and very mediocre full on for that matter) and i was really expecting their set also transwave was so so... i was expecting much more from them.
all in all the music was pretty damn good most of the time (cant speak for nighttime music as its not my cup of chai) but i would be really happy if next year there would be some more goa (be it oldschool or new artists), the music @ chillout was absolutely great and it was really hard to divide the time between both stages (missed younger brother and prometheus sets cuz of that) so maybe a lil more planning should go there too...
people were absolutely amazing i had such an incredible time @ ozora... sadly i have no pics this time as i was stomping my ass off all thru the festival - LEFT SPEAKER TRIBE!!!
great job to the whole pumpui crew - was a really great organization!

Does anyone know how many people that was there? I've heard figures from 25.000 to 40.000 people.

My first year at OZORA - definitely not my last!
Thousands of happy people, high quality visuals and the best sound quality I have ever heard at a festival. That was probably the most fun I have ever had in 1 week!

@ Pip, when i was in the line for the shuttlebus to buy my ticket to the airport at saturday morning, one of the guys from the bureau asked me too take a wild guess, on how many ppl i thought there were at the festival, cause he knew. I then said about 30.000, he then grind at me, and told they had closed the intrance about friday noon where they hit the max capacivity @ 60.000 ppl !!!!

hello people well it was my 4 time at ozora.. i had a great time but not like the other times.. i will not tell about the to much people or the facilitys of toilets or showers..we can survive with less of this things in festivals if we have a good time but my bigest problem in this ozora it was the ``chill stage`` i dont know who had the idea to fix this stupid thing!! it was the first chill stage in all the festivals in the world that iv been that i could chill out... to close... to dark... to hot inside... the sound was a disaster inside and the most important that u dint have i place to seet and chill out and listen to all the great artists that play in this stupid box and u must go out and seet!! it was only for dancing and watching up the crystals...that's all . to much impressing for nothing in the chill stage

This was The Festival – many thanks to Bubble and the crews for the hard work. We felt cared about the whole time – from the precise opening timing to the fire trucks (WOOOOOWWW) on the main stage. Considering the amount of people that came the organization was perfect – the 20 mins queue in front of the showers and taps was one of the best social spots on the area Each year you prove that you are the best!
C U soon, Ozorians Thanks for your wonderful smiles, you big Suns

W-O-W what a festival! so many good vibes and happy people The best sets for me was by Mindwave, Djane Gaby, U-recken and Ace Ventura at the last day! I really enjoyed Mindwave's set, it was my first time listen to his set and it was amazing! spiritual music just for festivals like OZORA. Thank you for this great festival and I'm sure I will be there next year
Boooommmmm!

when they took me to the emergency in the next big city, the docs n cops has been very interested whats going on there! ...

Are you sure that's Ozora related? He's got a Sziget bracelet on too and in the address bar it says something about sziget festival too, which took place after Ozora...
I saw two cops walking around the festival, smiling, taking a few photos (looked more for personal use than any sort of evidence), people smoking chillums next to them, no worries. Seems to me it would be pretty obvious for the authorities for several years what goes on there?
Ok 30.000 seems more reasonable. But do they really expect 50.000 next year? Surely Boom will pull some of their audience?

A view of the festie from the air
The guy was caught while at the Sziget festival, but indeed he was previously been at Ozora. I saw a police patrol entering the festival very quick with no siren or nothing to call the attention. They went up to the path with the sand carvings at night and then (like 40 mins later) i saw them leaving from a road behind the VIP area. Everything it's OK with authorities here.
