I have heard soo much about Ozora from people at boom 2010. Most people feel what makes Ozora stand apart is the fact that its a full fledged Psychedelic festival. No electro or tech bullshit! Just some kick ass Psychedelic music!

I know its nice to inclusive, to cater to larger audience. But the reality is that there already soo many festivals catering to house/electro/tech music lovers.

The music played in afternoon's at boom 2010 was nothing but disaster. Very commercial. It should not have been played on a Psy floor. In fact, after getting the feedback the organizers have admitted regret through their letter to boomers (Part 1).

So the general perception on the street is that Ozora stands out for good Psychedelic music and fantastic vibe. So please keep it that way! Shanti!

Hello,

We have started preparations a bit earlier than usual so that we have more time for some of the new ideas we have for next year's event which once again will be a stepping stone in our short history .

As for the music .We have always stayed true to psychedelic culture and that means PSYCHEDELIC MUSIC (of all sorts) so be assured we are moving even more in that direction .

We feel that "fortunately" it has become hipp again for the older goa sounds to get more emphasis on festivals.Seems like thats the new gimmick ? We are really happy for that cause we always stayed true to those artist and this will never change cause we respect them and would like to thank them for their contributions to this great genre .

Ozora will always be your playground which means that we will select music for you !
Stay tuned for more info .

peace and love

I dont know why everybody is complaining about to much tech and minimal at Ozora. I was there and did not hear one single tech or minimal track , I did hear progressive psy and other groovy styles of psy which I prefer but no tech or minimal which I also enjoy. People also complain about the same thing at boom this year where I was also present , and again all the tech and minimal music was played at groovy beach , I did not hear any such music on the dance temple. But one thing these people who complain do not see is that , at both festivals the dance floors were most packed with people during the afternoon hours then any other time of the day or night !!, and this is the time when the so called tech minimal is being played,
And besides that I dont know what they complain about if only the last 5 hours of the day is dedicated to groovier music , the rest of the night and morning is not enough? cant you share the rest of the day?

Hello!

Since I was present only at Boom this yr, I will reserve my comments only for the music at Boom festival.

5 hrs of groovy music.... Yeah! it's not too bad! But the timing was ridiculous! If we partied late the previous night(which most people did), we all got up late just in time for the groovy music! Now that's the problem! Full on/Goa music lovers were pretty much stranded. Two options. Either party all night, catch the full on music early morning and then get toasted in the tent while trying to catch some sleep during the day. Else, early to bed, early to rise, miss the nights! Had there been a slot for some Goa/full on in the afternoon's, all this circus could have been avoided. This what annoyed people the most.

I agree! The dance floors were full in the afternoon's. With temperatures soaring in the high 30's there was no way on earth anyone would sleep in the tents. The sprinklers (which were blissful) on the dance floor were a relief from the scotching heat. To escape the heat the crowd would probably have danced to some retro music! Pun intended!

after being there in 2009 and many friends at this years edition - i can safely rest assured that the pumpui crew will stay true to their conception of psychedelic (be it goa, full on, proggy or acts like younger brother/shpongle) and for sure will make it to the 2011 edition

i know we can rely on ozora crew to select the oldschool acts, but what about some new flavors ? acts like filteria (had the extreme pleasure of climbing his walls of sound @ boom), artha (really... book this guy... i HAVE to experience a live set of his!!!), e-mantra and some more of the newer school of goa trance

My god I'm longing for Ozora! And yes, goagoagoa. Daytime Goa, sunrise goa. Let us go there. The most true feeling of them all. Goa madness is what we want to be! Goa for them all!

thanks bubble & every1 for your words..we, from Slovakia keep coming since Solipse 1998 and i feel also fortunate for the latest development of GOA and true saikedelik trance to revive its mystical energy on Ozora fest..

along with other suggestions I believe it is time for Bilbo COSMOSIS to come back to Ozora playground once again and twist our brain around..and pls my vote for:

Mr.Peculiar - very peculiar saiko trance live pa
Hallucinogen
Dickster, Green Nuns
Burn in Noise
U-Recken
X-DREAM
ATMOS
SILICON SOUND

and may I suggest some live PA to Chill-out tent in terms of dub - ZION TRAIN - they performed during Solipse in 1999, gio MAKYO of Dakini records - most atmospheric space tribal dub...and always every1 from Ultimae...

it was our 5th and we will come again to join the tribe around the fire in community dance to form the common ONE mind as we feel it for long time now...
