REALLY many people! Too many if you ask me. The place is essentially big enough, but the infrastructure needs to be expanded to accomodate this many. I don't have a figure, but it felt like well over 30.000 compared to previous years. No clue as to the actual count though.
It was fine up until the weekend, then it really began to be noticable. Long lines for everything
Still had a blast of a festival though!

If i have to point out one(1) bad thing about the festival. It has to be the awfull queues at the entrance at arrival. My friends and i waited for seven hours before we were let inside.
But then.. I'm speechless, that many smiles and beautiful people have.. (at least i) never ever met..
A BIG THANK U TO THE ORGANIZERS AND ALL INVOLVED.

the festival grew up a lot for a few years...
Organisators need to fix and built the infrastructure for this ammount of people.
Firstly,I'm thinking on more (cleaner) toillets and showers...
Chill stage now looks amazing but I had feeling it's not over yet...
They should think also about making the third stage 
And one more thing...I think the organisers need to find solution for pets (dogs) somehow - the dogsh... is all over the festival ,they peed on my tent few times...overall I love the anymals but I do not like to step on dog shit and think about that on altered state of my mind...
Overall,I had very,very good time

Water pressure not fit for the number of visitors.
Shower number not fit for the number of visitors.
Main stage playground was like a wasteland by the looks of it even before the weekend.
Finding a peaceful spot with shade where people will not walk 20cm past your head while you try to lay and rest was a different problem, but similar that of standing in line for water.
Still a great and beautiful festival but way too crowded for the infrastructure.
Keep upgrading and maybe think about limiting the number of tickets in the future it's not just about having enough camping space...
And for the love of god don't ever invite Peter Didjital, for the 2nd year he tried to kill the psy vibe with minimal techno sound.
I could not believe the difference between 2010 and 2011 edition.
Chill stage is perfect! I think it's time to start thinking about a 3rd stage for another kind of vibe.  |

My first ozora, definetly not my last, if I am alive and well:D. This thing was soo great. Lots of positive vibes, good music, good people and so on. As for getting into the festival, then next time I will come earlier/later or just camp outside the ticket booth:D. This so called ''line'' was so lame part of ozora. Few more ticket sellers isn't a bad idea:D. |

is it just the bigger number of people or other things to.
I have been in 2008, 9 and 10 and saw it grow. couldnt make it this year so im curious.

The number of people definetely, and that made a couple of things different...
First of before the opening ceremony there was an announcement on the main stage that they found a small child and she is waiting for the parents in the backstage. I then realised that it was going to be a bit more loco this year.
Even heard that one dude jumped in the fire on the main stage and had to be taken to the hosipital, seen a dude get hold to the ground by 2 security while the paramedics gave him sedatives because he was out of control and kicked somebody (I think it was on saturday afternoon)...
Small children whitout ear protection on the main floor also made me a bit sad...also 2x more trash on the ground than last year for sure.
In 2010 it was more peacefull and easy to find a nice cozy spot to chill, rest, look at the clowds etc, this year it was 2x more crowded. And because of the waiting lines and more noisy places, people seem more on edge than in 2010. Or maybe not on edge, it was just different for me definetely not as magical as 2010.
Not to misunderstand me, the festival was still great, but makes you wonder how big will it be again in 2013 when there is no Boom...25000, 30000...? |
