@Bubble,

thanks for the reply and explination in a way i will always be a fan of Ozora festival, where i have lived unique experiences and met some wonderfull people.
I understand your view and trying to keep the festival pure psytrance gathering, and i support that completley, just i was not refering to other styles of electronic music but more like to include also other styles of psytrance like soumi or some new fresh psytrance as we see today is being still produced. all the best and sure see you again between the hills.           to use your head you have to go out of your mind

Hi Bubble! Nice job with the lineup! I frequently post on internet websites, so I think you'll agree that I have a lot of insight into festivals. Like many others, I have a few concerns this year. For example, I can't help but notice that many of my local acts/favorite artists aren't on the lineup. Can you please add them to the lineup? In addition, can you please remove some of the artists I don't like? Thanks, looking forward to attending after you make these minor adjustments!           http://soundcloud.com/herbert-quain

boooooring

ok, some names, such as Derango, Penta and all those dinosaurs of psytrance I guess dont ever get boring for some people.
but come on!!!
ORG??? did you listen to the so called DarkSide last edition? such a disappointment to open a festival with such amateur sound, and there it is again, on 2011 lineup.?.?.?
I understand you probably want to promote your fellow hungarian artists---but than why not call parahalu for example (one of the best in your country).

just a thought

I said exactly the same last year. All other acts are top notch but when it comes to night-time Trance there we go with the amateur hour... just horrible -- and theres Para Halu in hungary and he aint perform wtf??

OH man, I have been drooling over OZORA's lineup for years now...and am finally in a position to make the trip out for 2011

I would be coming from Portland, Oregon USA. If I am going to do this I would need to get the logistics worked out...

as in, what airport am I flying into? What can I to pay for food and water for the duration of the trip?

I tried to look up this info on the website/forum but figured I would have better luck here.

not sure what the cheapest flight to Europe from the USA is...but to get to Ozora you can fly to Budapest, there are probably cheap flights from London to Budapest...haven't checked that route, what I do know for sure is that you have airlines like Wizzair flying from London to Zagreb here in Croatia...and from here to Ozora it takes like 4 hours with a car...of course you can also take the train as many people here do...of course you can always use expedia or skyscanner to find the cheapest flights

as for money, you can pay in euros but it's smarter to change into Hungarian forints, I usually have both on the festival...if you're coming by plane to Budapest then just change the money on the airport, there's bound to be an exchange office there somewhere

hope that helps
Cheers and cya there!           DJ Dovla | Interchill Records, Flow Records

I must say that i agree too

Had a listen to some of the nighttime acts like irgum burgum and trippyhippies and they are rather boring!! Seems like being fast is cool enough for them. There is so0o much good nighttime stuff out there that is way better, especially when the daytime stuff is so nice and chilled, which means that the nighttime stuff doesnt have to try break the speed of sound, but if you want that to be the case, at least keep it groovy like psymmetrix and those boys. Otherwise some nice dark trance will do just fine for the nighttime stuff. In South Africa we have quite a big trance scene, but the nighttime music is normally terrible. Not that its too fast mostly, it just doesnt let you get into a trance cos its always building and dropping, so i was really hoping to enjoy some real good nighttime music at OZORA. Hope the nighttime beats are not all like what i have listened to so far.

@Pete - I agree with you too, and mine

And one more time - FLOWJOB for the win!!!

I suppose it has everything to do with my music tastes gradually changing (and maybe the fact that I've never done drugs), but I haven't really liked any psytrance that came out in the last few years. To me it all sounds like amateuristic, pseudopsychedelic software-synth crap. No creativity, no surprises, no courage to try something different, nothing fresh. There are a FEW exceptions, like the last Prometheus album. And maybe it's just my sentiments, but I still very much like the old school acts, they have a whole different kind of energy which appeals a lot to me. And... I'm a great fan of Ultimae and Twisted records (read: OTT, Solar Fields, Asura, CBL, etc)

In summary: for me, this line up is great But I suppose that also has a lot to do with the fact that I don't often go to festivals, so I don't get bored with the acts. But there must be a lot of like-minded people out there, otherwise Ozora would not be so popular and grow every year?

Imagining I WOULD often go to festivals, I can see where the criticism is coming from though

Btw, last year I saw a lot of people go to the festival just because it's a great festival with an awesome atmosphere. They don't know the artists' names and wouldn't know if they heard them last year...They're just digging it.

This forum only represents a minority of Ozora people, a minority which is very actively into psytrance and psychill and eager to hear new stuff. I'm not sure if the other 15k of people care at all though

Protoculture has recently started playing a lot of progressive trance/electro music.

Likewise, Will Dimitri Nakov play as Dimitri? Dimitri is his electro project.

What can we expect from them at Ozora? I hope both the artists will stick to the Psychedelic genre.

Last year, Protoculture was one of the best live act that i have ever hearеd, and that was not progressive/electro music... it was so teasty and psychedelic, that i am still telling to the people how good he was, so dont worry, we will met each other on the greenfield when Proto will play... and we will comment for his style :-D

and i am totaly agree with @Vlip Psyde about the old school live act... couse that musicians only, are stick to the real psy music, no one of the new artists playing with spirit and energy.... yes.... everything is based on "pseudopsychedelic software-synth crap. No creativity, no surprises, no courage to try something different" well said mate

but anyway.... i am loocking forword to 2nd of august, and the beginning of the celebration

Peace to all

Also posted this on the facebook but will do it also here.

I understand you got tons of people who are 'whining' for this and that artist.
BUT
I do not understand, why do you let play Eat Static only in the chill-out? Make my wet dream come true plz and let him play a (retro) live set!

Also, I saw a lot of great artists from Nano Records on the line-up, but you forgot Avalon

Anyway, still come, had a blast last year.

@onoma - my thoughts exactly, having Eat Static and Prometheus play only @ chill is a waste... honestly - but i am waiting for surprises maybe a prometheus vs. hallucinogen back2back set? something like that would be absolutely incredible and probably a defining moment for anyone whod attend

@anyer - this is filteria, this is his music, and this is what this guy does my absolute favorite producer for the past 4 years... his layered approach and melodies are nothing short of amazing... was lucky enough to see his performance @ boom... was really out of this world
