from where we are at in Austin... It is about 21 hours on bus to Gudalajara... Then you have to catch a bus to Puerto Vallarta which is from 300 to 500 pesos($30 to $50 r/t) and is about a 150 mile trip one way. I think the bus from Austin to Gudalajara is around $180. It looks like there will be a group of us from here in Austin trekking out there by bus. If you want to meet up with us here and leave your vehicle we could have one big bus full of partiers... Let me know...

From the tx border mcallen.. its like 11 hrs driving to guadalajaara, and then another 4 to get to vallarta.
im from guadalajara, so.. any question you people have you can pm me.
i dont have nothing to do with the organization, and i dont even know them.. but im glad to hear that lots of you people are interested on coming to this festival in our country and nice beaches  |

Hell yeah it's gonna be twisted and evil just how we like it! Ive been waiting so long to see psykovsky, i will have to organize myself well if im going, i hope i don't miss it!

Hey, I really want to go, already have my ticket on hold, just waiting for artists to get conformed, 'cause as long as i know they didn't get their money or airplane tickets yet.

God I hate to say this, because I really wanted these guys to pull it off, but...
I just heard from them today and they are going to cancel the party. Their primary investors apparently have been leading them on and when it came down to it, they backed out.
The organizers are very distraught and said they will send me an a note of apology and explanation for me to translate and post here.
I realize this really sucks for the reputation of internationally promoted Mexican parties - especially given the Goa Sounds scams and the Mikology fiasco. But, in defense of the organizers, they are reputable guys and have thrown many successful fiestas (big ones) and this is the first time this has happened to them.
To chastise the organizers, they should have confirmed all their acts six months ago and not announced until they truly had everyone booked - especially for such a huge line up as the one they posted.
I know this really sucks for all of you that have booked travel arrangements already -myself included! But, let me see if I can't put something smaller together in PV or GDL and we can all still party together in Mexico. I know some club owners in both places that might be willing to let us use the Artists already booked and party in their club.
If there is any interest in this, let me know.
I hope to post the letter of explanation and apology later tonight.
