Tonight!
Fumi has organized a party for our friends Mio and KeN who are leaving
New York. I (Ben aka Hypnotoad)am helping. And an extra special treat.. Julian S.L. (Pixie
Dust).. is here from Canada with his amazing art. So if you want to
think of it as a post Orb party, that's ok too 
It's at Pyramid in the East Village and only $5! So come down and have
some fun with us.
Featuring DJ sets by:
- Hypnotoad (light-o-matic / PSI)
- Fumi (Yogi Bogey Box)
- K e N (Dreamcatcher / Bella Gaia)
- Stymie (Sonic Labs / Chicago/NYC)

LOL it is impossible to please everyone.
First problem is defining what "dark" psy really means.. because it seems to me that almost all night time music gets called "dark" these days.. but in the old days it was just called night time psytrance!
Anyway I hope you all enjoyed the party.. and thanks so much to everyone who came. It was really great!
As far as the music, I think we had a pretty good selection.. the first half of the party (Stymie and KeN)was progressive and full-on, the second half.. me and Fumi.. was more "dark".. but neither me nor Fumi really like evil sounding music. But we do both like tripped out fast music. So when we play together you know what is going to happen! 
But I also play pretty sunrise music and a lot of other kinds. But just not this time.. last night was the right time and place for me to rip it up with some crazy tweaky stuff. Maybe some other time I will play happy love music.

ya I'm up in vermont here/ new jersey for the summers.. but been to plenty of parties down there and you play great music ben seen you rip it up in the pines plenty of times
didn't go to the party, looked like fun, but I like to mix it up and have a nice progression of music through the night/morning.
just poking a little fun at nyc, gotta love it! |

Glad people had a good time. The club owner is happy with us and with psy people, which means we will almost definitely do something there again

Ben's sets have always been amazing ! the flow of psycedelica at pines is what it should be like at every festival  can't wait for the next one
