To Trick:
1)COSM halloween's event is also $40. As a matter of fact MOST HALLOWEEN EVENTS are more expensive than a regular event, so with 5 international artists, this really is a blessing.
2)Many (if not MOST) people are more interested in the artists you refer to "filler" than the ones that play "full power"
3)Its understandable you would prefer a party in manhattan, you are after all, a total douche bag. Who the fuck brags about the size of their apartment (on an international forum nonetheless) anyway?
4)5 Headliners do not justify the price? Are you demented, what does then? I've been to festivals that are cheaper and one night parties that have been more expensive, but the ultimate way I judge the party is based on the musical talent that has been brought in and their performance. I'm not a big fan of non full power music, but I realize that many people are(you somehow fail to) so I understand the need for artists such as Spectra and Tryambaka(who is actually fucking amazing and full fucking power) to bring in more people.
5)I dont know if I already mentioned this, but you are a fucking asshole.

Should be free? Thanks to your bank account maybe? Is that what you are trying to say here? You can afford your big ass apartment in the city but not this?
Fucking jag-off

Thank you for your input and kind words Tarik!
First of all this is a "gift" and a treat to ourselves and all our friends and family(they know who they are).Because we just like you, frequent all other parties here and literally get ripped off(im not going to repeat what i wrote in my other comment).

also i dont really understand the lineup either
yes you have brought 5 international arists or watever you say but really only xama and lab are going to be blasting full power music the rest are just goin to be fillers...so ur telling me that u like only full power music from 12-around 4...and then from then on your goin to play cheeze....again maybe u should rethink what artists you bring and how many you bring...somtimes more is better my friend!!!
|
|
To that i can only say that you have no clue of what your talking about,if u don't know the artists who's music you describe as cheese(tryambaka,earworm,spectra/spectra produce morning style full on but its far from cheese in my opinion),then with all due respect stfu and first listen to what everyone is going to play, experience the journey we are planning for you,and then you can complain!!!

however you come across as an egotistical ass that thinks what he is doing is a gift to everyone in nyc and we hsould bless the ground u walk on and for that you can suck it my friend

To me an egotistical ass would be someone who blurbs the following :"yes we can have a party at the loft, but only with the kind of artists that i want and with no more then 50 people".(should i remind you who said that?)

supply and demand my friend creates equilibrium in price if its too expensive people wont come and u will suffer
if its isnt then more than enuf ppl will come and u will make money on your psy trance gathering
|

We are not a business, and we are not a corporation or a store here, and nor will we ever approach throwing psychedelic trance gatherings with that intention.Theres no supply and demand situation going on under any circumstance. We are throwing this party with hopefully many more to come to not make money like you think, but we are doing it for fun,for the love of the music, the lifestyle, for the party!!!It will be a blessing if we can brake even, and pay back all the money we are borrowing from our friends to make this party happen.
I completely understand if this concept is not to your liking or your cup of tea.If all of us were rich spoiled kids, who can afford a 4500sq loft(and like to brag about it),AND who say that they have enough money to bring zik(horror place) to their loft and in your own words Tarik :"trip alone" "all to to myself".
Im not judging you dude,i'm merely trying to point out that you have no idea of what your talking about!

yes it is pricey...i dont think paying $45 for one night of trance is a treat??? are your crazy...that is alot of money especially for an underground scene that should be free!!!! how much do you want to charge us...$100??? im sorry sir this is a one day party being thrown in queens not manhattan and not a festival so check yourself and plz spare us your lectures
but is it worth the price? im sure people will decide for themselves...the people that come have obviously decided that what you are offering is worth the price
|
|
That is your opinion, and i thank you for it.
What you say is very true, people will decide for themselves and all those people who are helping out by purchasing advanced tickets have decided!Thank you guys for all your help and support! This gathering is for all of us!(if we were rich spoiled kids like someone i know then maybe we could have been throwing free parties like u mentioned earlier hint hint...
In conclusion if you don't like what you have been offered, and you feel that the concept or vision of this organization or crew is not to your liking, and especially if the price is too high for you, then by all means maybe you should stay in your beautiful awesome 4500sqft loft in "manhattan",and party by yourself like you mentioned to us earlier.
....Maybe its for the best?

This is the treat for sure. I support the organizer that could respect the work of the artist (paying their years of work and flying them to entertain an audience in a rare scenes) specially visual artist whom has often 'been treat behind in the past. I prefer to spend my $45 to dance and enjoy the scene instead of fucking my head and other people head with four glass of vodka with that money. If you expect a free Holiday Event Party, maybe you should fly them (in a holiday season ticket price) and feed them your self and share your bed with them.
You can take some of those school tuition big money for that.

This looks like an awesome party! Tickets are pretty pricey but props to Repsychle for bringing in some sweet international talent. The order of the lineup doesnt really make sense to me....(putting the darkest artists first???) but maybe the organizers know something i dont
I hope i can get the cash together to make this one.....
Boom and good luck with all future ventures...

Trick,
I just read your last post and am in shock man... are you for real dude ?? The party should be free ?? So you're saying crew's around the world and new york should just fly over artists and have hard work for free ? Not even make back the money they put into it ?? that my friend is being greedy.. you want people to throw parties and fly over lots of artists for your enjoyment... and not even be able to make there money back... Isn't it about working together to all be able to enjoy parties and gather in a common sense of good music and vibes and the scene we all cherish... I've been going to psytrance events since I was 15 years old (some free parties yes in the woods with local dj's in portugal there is no need to rent expensive nyc venues) and I never met anyone with you're degree of comprihension, I think with 15 I had a bit more sense in what I say.
And calling tryambaka a filler ? have you ever heard any of his music ?? he is prob in my opinion one of the most quality nightime producers there is out in the scene.. and Earworm and Spectra also fillers cheesy fillers ?
Supply and demand ? are you for real ? I'm sorry I didn't realise we were trying to start a multinational with the massive profit we will make.. when we need a marketing director we will deff talk to you.
I burst in mixxed feelings of laughter and wow at your post man. You should really have more respect for artists.. even when I don't like certain artists music I at least respect them for their art. Even if not my cup of tea.
Look at plane ticket prices. calculate how much the lives will cost.. You live alone so you're obviously not a kid by age.. and do you're math... and tell me 35 dollars is expensive.
Obviously your only intent on you're posts here is to create bad vibes and of course make yourself look foolish
lets not let the topic lead into this negative direction please, It's just ugly and needs to stop
Thanks, Miguel

Seriously!! I wouldnt have said anything if i knew people would respond like this.
@Psy Active aND Bob Lob Law -
I didnt meant that the party is overly expensive (as I said PROPS for bringing such great international talent.
I just meant that (regardless of the awesome talent) 45 dollars is a lot of money for someone like me who is currently between jobs ande eating rice almost everyday
So i hope you see that my comment was not made to say that you should charge less or anything like that...purely a statement of my desire to have 45 dollars to spend freely every weekend. I mean seriously if you guys throw parties like this all the time, then i need a job fast so i have the cash to come to them all
BOOOOOOM!! And thanks again for organizing this killer....and yes im sure i will appreciate the lineup if im there...as I said...im sure you habve something up your sleeve!!
BTW - What does Raknahs Moob mean? I gave it a quick google search but couldnt find anything... thanks!
And Bob ----- THANK YOU for the very kind offer....

neways big bom to u for putting this all 2gether
and good luck for your event
if you didnt get so defnsive and critical everytime someone said somethign this thread would have not turend into tthis

Tarik,
From what i know and experienced during my time in the psychedelic trance scene, true proper parties dont pound your head with 160+ bpm "dark" psycore,For 8-12 hours straight(which most of it isn't psychedelic trance.once again i wanna make myself clear,im not saying that this music isn't psychedelic.Im saying it mostly isn't even "psychedelic trance"but thats for each person to decide for themselves).I totaly understand and respect the fact that many people may like getting seizures for 12 hours, but please never forget that many don't.Same goes for parties that pound your head with full on for 12 hours.
In my opinion,a good psytrance party should take you on a psychedelic musical journey taking you through many different styles and worlds of psychedelic trance. To bring everyone who likes all those different styles of music,on one dancefloor to share a beautiful journey and dance together and exchange great vibes and smiles.
Now...if you have ever been to one of those parties then you know exactly what i mean,if you haven't im sorry to tell you bro but your missing out,AND in that case you have no f#*n clue of what your talking about!
P.S
how do u know that this girl isn't the one who is cooking this whole party up?

What do a gynaecologist and pizza delivery boy have in common ??
>>
They can both smell it but cannot eat it
--=======--
Free parties, wishful thinking but Serephana threw awesome FREE outdoor with turbo sound and strawberry punch But again this is some years back...Maybe Trick is talking about that ?
Why are orgs getting distracted by petty comments / there will always be someone who isnt in agreement however hard you try..
It is really hard to pull off scenes in a place like NYC , sad to see all orgs getting involved in somthing or the other be it Aladdin/Metaforce/Repsychle etc etc
Good luck with this event , hope there is more to come !

Oh yeah, unlike your "arguments", which are very constructive. You contradict yourself in every post.
And me describing to anybody how I feel without utilizing self-censorship does not make me immature or my arguments or points invalid.
I think its good we have organizers that are so concerned with the quality of their parties and are so quick to respond to criticism. Its understandable that a superficial yet ultimately detached-from-reality attitude such as yours would cause the organizer to get so upset. I'm sure your the last type of person he would like to see at his party.
