HOLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
till yesterday i could only say WOW
............. im still at a loss for words but im going to try...
After a VERYyyyyyyyyyyyyyy long time I left the party with a massive smile on my face feeling not only fantastic but extremely positive!
THANK YOU noam & max and everyone else involved for putting this massive massive project together and executing it so well! you have set the bar so high right now for parties in nyc because this is how it should be done! you have definately recycled the energy in the psy scene .
Thank you.
To the DJ's : madness!! i walked in at 11pm and couldnt stop dancing till 8pm. the progression of music from when i heard xama to the end with max again was perfect- POWERFUL music.
I really enjoyed all of the dj's sets and i think they all delivered amazing intelligent sets. after max's live set i thought i had no energy left in me but spectra came on and that was such a powerful morning set with the sun coming up that i suddenly has this burst of energy to continue to the end
thank you x100 to all the dj's for your music.
The deco- amazingggggggggggggggggggg...woweeeeee woweeeeeeeee I like!
'some seriously beautiful esp. when the sun hit the main piece behind the dj console. OH sweeet lord....what a sight! thank you lucas.
The sound system - finally someone got it right with making sure the sound was top notch....thanks guys.
The place was super cool too with the rooftop .....an amazing find!!
Raffi- thank you sooooooooo much for the chai at the end yummmy!!
the crowd was amazing fun and so were the costumes thank you all for your positive energy...
to all my friends who came- as always so good to see u and dance with all of you!
all the best for all ur future ventures.
lots of love, kisses and good energy from one FUCKING HAPPY trancer

I didn't see the Green Man on the floor! lol
|
|
I tried so desperately to find that costume. It was sold out on every on line store and couldn't find it in any halloween stores... yet I did not see one person in NYC dressed as green man. So I had to settle for skeleton gloves instead.
The party was ridiculously awesome. Every artist had an amazing and energized set yet I have to say my favorite was Lab. Xama had me going the second he came on. Lab's style just completely drew me in, I could not get enough. Then tryambaka's high energy set really kept the dancefloor going. Max's live set was great and then his final DJ set made the morning dancing spectacular -- didn't think I'd be able to move at that point but I did. Spectra too, great set and kept me coming to the dance floor.
Thank your everybody for an amazing party. I can't imagine Halloween getting much better than that. |

"To that i can only say that you have no clue of what your talking about,if u don't know the artists who's music you describe as cheese(tryambaka,earworm,spectra/spectra produce morning style full on but its far from cheese in my opinion),then with all due respect stfu and first listen to what everyone is going to play, experience the journey we are planning for you,and then you can complain!!!" Bob the Law
Now I am going to start complaining since I experienced your journey BOB...The music was so fucking horrible I cannot put into language how bad it bummed me out I was offended...Starting wtih Xama who was playing the strangest cheezy dark psy and couldnt mix at all. He even ruined a Zik vs KDD track "Tell me a Name" with unnecessary breakdowns and buildups. His set did not sound anything like his stuff on myspace and Trishula records website mixes so I was throughly confused as many artists have said good words about him on isra...Then Lab came on and I had faith the youngster would set the course straight, but only little better, and so much aggression with no direction didn't make ne sense to me again...Then Tryambaka came on and was an absolute joke what cheeze and this person thinks he is so cool and is full of himself he was playing so many tracks from his album. I mean if I wanted to hear them I would have stayed home and played them on my monitors myself which I will never do because they are horrible tracks...Next was Earworm who was the best artist at the party and he wasn't even an international artist so kudos to Earworm but by that time my ears had been so badly damaged I could not dance any longer and my friends were all bummed out so we left...My conclusion: Portuguese sounds sucks and is no where near the international standard of PSY...So the party sucked musically and the sound was not good either!!! This is my honest opinion I was fully pysched to dance and trance out on Haloween hadnt been to a party since a party in Tokyo in summertime and not at any point did I get into trance with the music a sign there was nothing psychedelic about the music at all!!!
However on a positive note....
Deco...TOP NOTCH
Location...TOP NOTCH
Vibe...TOP NOTCH
Rooftop...TOP NOTCH maybe a little heat and some chill out would be appreciated tho but killa views and good place to get away from the horrible soundz downstairs
Everything was killer except for the music but without good music its not a good party so it completely bummed me out and I left around 5 AM
Suggestion/Comments: Def could see the organizers put in alot of work and care and dedication and almost pulled off a banger on Haloween, I guess my definition of psychedelic music is completley different than theirs but I honestly feel there was nothing psychedelic about the music being played on Friday Night so please invest in QUALITY artists and QUALITY sound being the most important things
BIG BOOOOM and good luck for the next party from now on I will not go to a party where I am not 100% sure the music is up to my standard

I agree with everything Trick has said. I thought the location, organization, vibe, decor, sound system were absolutely BRILLIANT!
I was however put off by the music, big time. Maybe I too am not into Portuguese psy, but the guys that were playing till 4:15am were awful...there was little flow, very fast bpms, limited variety, and a ton of "noise" ... not my cup of tea, sorry.
I did however feel that Earworm & Spectra played solid sets. They "saved" the party for me, especially Spectra whose basslines I enjoyed considerably.
Overall, I was extremely impressed by everything but the music. Now if you guys get Logic Bomb or Tristan to this venue, then hubba hubba

that was an amazing Halloween - incredibly great vibes and costumes and artists. I felt very at home even despite not very friendly security. Great location too. I dont know what Trick and Inner_Light are talking about - the music was best until 4:15 am. I can only conclude that everyone has different tastes and this is how it is.
Overall - super great. THANK YOU!

i can only conclude that eveyone that enjoyed the music till 415 am does not know what pyschedelic trance music is or has never heard a proper dj/live set in there life and i feel very sorry for them!!! when they hear the real thing they will think it a mystical experience...
Xama circus, Lab, Tryamabka all fucking suck!!!!!!!!! Someone commented on how the music was intelligent...There was no intellignce at all in this music...It was sooooooooooooo stupid!!!!! No intricate rythms are patterns just a cacophony of horrible uninteresting soundz
Absolute and utter garbage...Inner light is very right, no flow at all, stupidly fast music, no variety, just noize noize noize that makes absoultley no sense...I had better music downstairs in my freinds car
Anyone that would prefer these artists to an Orestis/OnkelDunkel/GOW/Zik/Polyphonia/Jellyheadz/MDS/Highko/Claw/Stranger/Hux Flux/Derango/Procs/Dronebixie/Atriomh/Naked Tourist/Red/Dominator/Cosmo/Innersound/Samadhi and the list goes on and on and on and on for the 100's of better artists in the dark psy world has obviously lots ther mind or has never had one in the first place...This is not about taste it is about the difference good and bad music period!
Apalling, Disgusting, Pathetic, Sad, I do not know the proper adjective to descibe HOW BAD the music truly was
Honesly I want my money back and an apology from the organizers for frying my brain on some crystal clear liquid and subjecting me to garbage...I feel disgraced for the Psy world

now we know what it is all about trick crying for. ego taste. well i my self first have a deep heavy trip experience when listening to dark psytrance in 1995. music brought by Atilla from Kurdistan and his friend Venus from Berlin. At that time many other act was playing what they called goa style (psytrance with melodic indian's melody). 1998 I move to US and trying to find the scene. Found Synthetic Sadhus a year after. Since then I was enjoying every different kind of psy-music from progressive, chill-out, dub, full-on, etc until I stumble in to a darker full-on taste by shift and Sub6 etc, at that time. Day by day looking and discovering a darker (in creative way) music by more performance. I was enjoying it (since had good enough of heavy trance melody from my tribe since my childhood). So there I become dark music listener, fans of some artist, making the music, involve with the scenes, and weaving a friendship with them musician, organizer, record owners and those fans. I even says that I will never look back. Well I was wrong. The bad thing is, I should have not involved in it but just dance. However the involvement has open my eyes wider into what is this dark psy-trance all about. Again, I don't against the creativity of it at all but the concept and their culture (either the artist aware of it or not) of it is just a mind fuck. So I know most of the name explained above by trick and many others, They know me too. I listened to their trax to the ends and their ideas. I study the personality. I found most of them have a childhood abuse issues that they end up snorting cocainas because they cannot practice violent as revenge (well it's "illegal" to do violent but what about crack?). At the stage of their greed, fear and productivity, they snort cokes (includes many other organizers {not limited to other psytrance genres} but most of my knowledge is in dark "full power" psytrance). Overall hey do a great development of egos. Many of them even still owe me a ca$h and apologies. Since all of this experiences, the dark psytrance turn my appreciation down.
So too bad Trick cannot bring those artist fro free, but I have an idea for you and a use of your cozy apartment. Just find a "FREE CARRIER" from Columbia to bring a descent quality powder to serve your audience and their dances experience and turn on your TripLag Radio to replace those Psytrance Celebrities cost. That will save you a bugs and make sure you have some cash and extra lines for them in case they want their money back.

daya watever you said makes absolutley no sense
plz if you are trying to point a make try and use english in a logical coherent manner to get your point across
maybe you have something meaningful to say but i cannot understand one word of wat you said
something about cocaine and dark psy and violent use and abuse
however the artists i mentioned above are not only dark psy artists they are pyschedeliccccc!!!!!! that is the important part
onkel donkul for example one half of GOW will play music so pyschedelic it will absorb your mind and turn you into a state of trance even you are completly sober
what was played on friday night no mattter how many drugs you do should never and will never be considered pyschedelic
however it is should considered trash and be banned from ever being played at parties again

The point I try to say is, you need to grow, because you might against what you have say one day.
Who says that you have to take a drugs to be psyched, maybe the drugs is the problem why you are not getting it. Try without it sometimes!
Well soon you will know unless you are apart of them then you will never realize. founder http://www.enkienterprise.com

@ daya
i have very many times not taken drugs and listened to pyschedelic trance had very good times and danced hard
my point i was trying to make is that if i was on drugs the music on friday would have sounded like shit and if i wasnt on drugs the music on friday would have sounded like shit because the music was shit
again xama lab and tryamabaka played unintelligent senseless trance with no direction it can aptly characterized as painful noise that is being pawned off as psychedelic trance
