Let me share one hilarious moment from that party. I guess we had some clever comedians among us at the party.

When there was a pretty lenghty pause with gliding pads building up and getting thicker...almost felt like waves to me...i head someone say: WHAT??? IS THIS GUY A CHRISTIAN!!!

i don't know your sense of humor but i find this pretty damn funny. and the pads did remind me of the inside of some mystic monastery

I'd like to see some pics from this party

Well I made it and i had a great time. The deco was nice, the visuals were superb, the atmosphere and the location were something I've been looking for a long time. Nice crowd too. Lots of smiling faces very very nice. And the music, the music was really good. I don't know what's the name of the DJ with the long curly hair, but he really kicked some ass last night. The track selection was really nice. There were few tracks that left a big impression on me, like the one with arcade games samples bleeps and blops and sinthy stabs...perfect

I beleive that the long hair nut was spook.
=) hes a bit weird playing that political stuff but I guess his heart was in the right place...

I thought that politic thing was hilarious... I had heard the sample before in a Bong Ra track but was glad to hear it again "The American flag stands for corporate scandal, stock market decline, cutting out tongues, dripping acid on the skin.....I have sent you a comprehensive energy plan to kill wildlife and burn away millions of acres of treasured forest". I do hope it doesnt become too much of a trend though, I dont want to hear stuff like that every party.

Anyway i had a great time, Shapestatics music was a totally amazing, psychedelic sonic vortex.

Also I just want to say that those hanging paper structures were beautiful.

ok, no more political stuff, wanted to see if it was too much or not...

ps the spinning 3D sculptures WERE AMAZING!

I would like to add also,

A huge thanks to all who put this on, contributors, dancers and the yoga studio for their generosity of allowing this space to happen and to the whoever dropped their goji berries and made the blue spectral monkey crawlaround like a monkey and peel them all up,

PS Shapestatic will be debuting some singles on various artist comps coming soon and a new album in the works! They rocked something fierce! Be ready to get a whole cd of this all mastered by Chromatone!!! a worthy addition to your collection.

This was such a warm, lovely party, I had so much fun dancing in sea of smiling faces new and old. It was good to see everyone again. I especially liked the "living room" space and the kitchen serving up some GOOD smoothies. The night also had it's humorous parts; the foot odor that cleared the room and a very flamboyant guy while I was helping in coat check, who first complained about taking off his Prada shoes and then 10 minutes later comes back complaining about the absense of liquor and leaves. HAHAHA! Thanks to all the Dj's who all played great, especially Spook, I really enjoyed his set yet missed the political thing and thanks to the promoters for wonderful night.

Great vibe, the location was incredible! The live set was definitely the musical highlight for me. It was a great journey from the dark yet grooving beginning to the uplifting end. Hope to see more parties in unique locations chock full o' positivity.

we're totally on that... and thank you from 28thday and Light-o-matic to everyone who helped out with this. T.S. Guys: you rock. Shane and Alex: your deco was was killer. Spook: your visuals and set were awesome, once again. Centerpoint: not that you'll read this, but you guys were super helpful.

And finally, everybody who helped with the coat check, door, and elevator: no event without you guys, so thank you mucho. Looking forward to seeing everybody at the next one.

glad people appreciated all the hard work that went into making this party a reality!
or a surreality...

props to serena for her zome constructions and geometric origami..! she worked hard to get those ready for the event. it was a magical addition to the already mindblowing decor provided by the brainiacs at devotional decor ....

robomarket- i think the "There were few tracks that left a big impression on me, like the one with arcade games samples" track you are referring to was the one i started my set with = electrypnose - mario bros on V/A Play Way - doof rec 2006

all the sets were awesome, smoothies too.
great sound/music and great space and great people make great times.
just got a massage to work out the last of the kinks from doing the crazy monkey dance all night! phew!
jeff, you and your goji berries....
overall--great times. thanks again 28thday and lightomatic. you guys really make a difference.
