I am sure some spectrum analyzers are better than others. But its a bit like monitors. If you know what other tracks 'look' like you can compare them with your on any analyzer.

i checked out the nugen analizer, and it sucks...
the same signal is not reproduceable, it always shows another spectrum of the SAME sound. i tried all time settings...
the good thing, the NEW SPAN is awesome, they made a perfect update.
-nice zoom option
-analisis is more detailed than in the old version (gotta see it)
-you can change skins...
-RSM-meter and output-meter included
-some usefull presets, (stereo mastering, low-freq analisis...)
-AND you can change the size of the window, thats great!
-omg, i just noticed it shows the note (G#3-5cents for example) if i point the cursor on a frequency^^
