Hey there...
Ive recently been using Cubase sx 2.01 which has been running my projects perfectly... After making some arrangement with the owner of a studio i have been able to aqquire Nuendo 3, for a quick try before i buy. After having some install problems i finally managed to set up nuendo, but have had some audio problems.
A cyclical pop or click can be found in the audio when i play a project. (Every 3 seconds there is a click or pop in the sound. when i play the project, regardless of the amounts of tracks playing at the same time. At first i thought it could have something to do about the fact that i am running and old project in nuendo ... but it should be compatible.
The cpu bar also jumps every three seconds in conjunction with the clicks or pops. As the project is almost complete, im using approx 40 % of the cpu on the vsts, but when there is a click, the cpu increases to 60%.
Is there anyone who could help me with some ideas as to what the problem is. As i would like to try to resolve the problem before going back to the studio with a bad excuse that i cant set the program up on my oc  hehe.

No... not metronome... the same kind of clicks and pops as when you have are having a buffer underun. though its not that.
