AFAIK (hehehe, so im probably wrong :))
the nuendo is 24bit/96khz but the layla (like all echo cards, i think) is only 20bit/48khz
....maybe

Old Lyala is 20-bit.That's right.
New Layla24 is 24/96, excellent sound quality.
