yeah so whats the difference?

also it hasnt anything to do with this topic but let me put it here so i dont need to create a topic...

is possible in cubase, to open a midi editor of one instrument, and in this editor write midi notes for OTHER instrument, like if i want to do some call and response without having to open the two editors or crtl c crtl v??

thanks           ``We shall not cease from exploration - And the end of all our exploring - Will be to arrive where we started - And know the place for the first time.``

why don`t you guys have a look at the steinberg page and read yourself about the difference..

there are a few reasons, why nuendo is 1900€ and cubase around 500€..too much to write them all down..basically its about movie and post production , multichannel productions wich is nuendo used for..lots of the money why nuendo is so expensive cause the license to safe files in a specific format is pretty expensive from time to time..

@becktrank ,what you can do in cubase is use one midi editor for several instruments, but thos midi notes will be the same for all of the instruments.

you could do a midi split with the midi plugins and split you keyboard to maybe just play one instrument in that octave and another in an other octave..check out the midi plugins..lots of stuff possible midi wise in cubase..

cheers

You can open multiple MIDI parts on different tracks in the same editor and switch between them, writing different notes in each one. Great for 'call and response' lines.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

um isnt that working with c5 either ? select multiple parts and edit ? Than you can select the part to edit from the menu at that bar at top.           http://facebook.com/ansolas
