Hi guys.. I am trying to learn how to produce some psy. I have got Nuendo 2.2 as well as Frutiy Loops 6. The thing is all my mates tell me its better to start working with Nuendo. so thats what i wanna do..

I have learnt how to add a midi track into my project. but i dont know jackshit about anything else. I have read through the entire manual that came with the DAW, as well the manual for Cubase.. and now im thoroughly confused..

Would really appreciate some step by step instructions on how to start off.. im sure i can figure my way around after that... also if anybody has any video tutorials, would be a massive help...

Start with ableton live. and never go back. They have very good inbuilt tutorials.

Additionally its a much more intuitive and creativity inspiring environment.

Nuendo is definately a good software. But I think you should start off with Propellerheads Reason. As you want to learn Psychedelic Trance, you can download some rns files from www.propellerheads.se for psychedelic trance and you can get an idea of how psy/goa tracks are made and then you can start producing your own           "We surely know by some nameless instinct more about our futures than we think we know."
