I know the main synth operations(similar to k-station) but im not sure of the audiocard, latency, remote controlling.
Thanks in advance.

hey there !
i have got the x-station and it is almolst the same synth as the k-station.
the controller is real good, i use it all the time!
the soundcard is good for example for travelling but not for the studio @ home. you only have 2 instruments i or mic in but no other inputs.
if you look mainly for a new synth go for the xiosnth, it has different sounds as the x-station..
but i would even more recomend the roland 201 synth! check it this one out..

very good synthetizer,
if you were used to the ks... this its the same thing with a mid-end keyboard, a built in soundcard and an fx module, which is a very good thing.. not even some of the 'a class' synthesizers bring its own fx module integrated... with a good simple delay (sync'able by steps and tempo), and a very simple reverb, chorus/flanger, distortion and a compressor/eq which are nothing wow but are still there.

its a very good versatile synthesizer for the price it costs...
but (there is always a but...) i own a 49k xtation and after 3 months i started having a problem with the keyboard.
the F1 key starting sounding pretty much like the E1 but with a little bit of pitch aftertouch... i dont really know what the heck, did this ever happened to you?
